As the frosty kids like to say when they see someone completely possessing another person: “911, I’d like to report a murder.”
The “murder” in this case was Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance, who called out Democratic Party apparatchuck Martha Raddatz for her absurd characterization of the invasion of outlaw gangs into our country.
Appearing on ABC News’ “This Week” via satellite Sunday morning, Vance addressed the issue of outlaw gangs taking over parts of American cities. This problem has worsened under Kamala Harris’ watch, with gang members pouring across the border and taking over entire apartment complexes, putting American citizens at risk. This has led to an explosion in sex trafficking in at least eight states.
For ABC’s Martha Raddatz, it’s no massive deal, she tried to do a little PR triage on behalf of Kamala.
Raddatz: “The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes. And the mayor said, ‘Our dedicated police officers have responded to these concerns.’ A handful of problems!”
JD Vance: “Martha, do you hear yourself? ‘Only a handful of apartment complexes in America have been taken over by Venezuelan gangs and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris’ open border?’”
This is just the opening salvo; it just keeps getting better. Vance informs Ms. Raddatz about the consequences of her favorite party’s cruel policies:
“Americans are fed up with what is going on, and they have every right to be. And I find this exchange really interesting, Martha, because you seem to be more focused on cherry-picking everything that Donald Trump has said than acknowledging that there are apartment complexes in the United States of America that are being taken over by violent gangs.
I’m much more worried about this issue than anything else here. We must bring American communities back to a safe space. And when you let in people in the millions, most of whom are unvetted and most of whom you don’t know who they really are, you’re going to have problems like that, unfortunately.
“Kamala Harris – ninety-four executive orders that undid Donald Trump’s successful border policies – we knew something like this was going to happen, they bragged about opening the border, and now we’re having the consequences and living with them.”

It’s really shocking that this is considered journalism these days. Illegal gang activity is a real problem for many Americans, with many juvenile girls falling victim to the violence. As RedState’s Ward Clark reported:
The gangs in question are brazen; Many suspected gang members were part of a huge rush at the southern border that overwhelmed Border Patrol agents, and the Ten de Aragua gang has already been implicated in running two brothels in New York City across the street from two elementary schools.
But Martha Raddatz dismisses it as a problem for local police to deal with, rather than blaming Kamala Harris for creating this nightmare. It’s another sign that the left is growing increasingly desperate as Kamala weakens in the polls and trudges from one softball interview to the next.
JD Vance gives another master class in how Republicans must deal with a hostile media: with contempt, ridicule and a mastery of the facts. Vance does it spectacularly, leaving hackers like Martha Raddatz scrambling to respond.
