We’ve seen so much wrongdoing by the corrupt media, especially since Donald Trump descended the golden escalator in 2015, that it’s hardly surprising anymore. We’ve seen them bury the Hunter Biden laptop story right before an election, we’ve seen them blather on about a bogus Russia collusion narrative for years, and we’ve seen them talk endlessly about Joe Biden’s obvious mental deterioration have lied.
Still, CBS’ fraudulent editing of Kamala Harris’ “60 Minutes” interview represents another low point. As we reported, they released two separate clips in which Kamala answers a question from interviewer Bill Whitaker – but her answer is in each one different. So one of these changes is clearly a lie.

The network that humiliated Dan Rather back in 2004 when he accused then-President Bush of conspiring to avoid the Vietnam War, but could only back up his claim with documents that appeared to be blatant forgeries, is being criticized from all sides heavily criticized their double changes. A common refrain: come in and release the transcripts.
Bari Weiss, who has worked for both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, criticized the medium on social media on Saturday:

Meanwhile, the news site she founded, The Free Press unloaded on CBS for the interview and several other recent cases of her journalistic misconduct:
Those of us who worked in legacy media organizations have a pretty good idea why the so-called “mainstream press” has lost so much of its credibility. She Ignore politically inconvenient stories. She Rewrite history to meet the needs of the present. She Punishment of wrong thinkers. And her Promote ideology at the expense of reality.
But for those who still had doubts, CBS News this week went a long way toward answering that question.
However, she was far from alone. The New York Post wrote a glowing editorial On Thursday, demand that CBS take steps to salvage what little is left of its reputation:
“With even the Harris Walz campaign rejecting CBS’s hack-editing of Bill Whitaker’s interview with the Democratic candidate, the network’s only hope of regaining its credibility is to release the full transcript,” the editors wrote.
“Considering how terrible Harris himself looked after “CBS has chosen to deceive its viewers that this may well be the last serious interview it gives before Election Day: The network has a clear duty to the public to share the whole thing,” continued the New York Post editorial continued.

The chorus continued. Former Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines and OutKick contributor Riley Gaines: “If you’re someone who doesn’t think CBS should release the unedited transcript, then you’re the problem.” Former NFL reporter Michele Tafoya: “CBS should release the transcript…admit the editing…and attempt to redeem itself.”
Republican Senator from South Carolina Lindsey Graham:
I completely agree that the transcript of Vice President Kamala Harris’ 60 Minutes interview should be released in its entirety. The transcript will speak for itself and there is no reason not to make it clear. The idea that @KamalaHarris‘ Comments may have been positively edited and need to be addressed quickly.
The list goes on and on. Why? Because what we have seen is journalistic misconduct on an epic level. I won’t go so far as to accuse CBS of “rigging” the election, since they are not actually interfering in the voting process, nor are they physically interfering in the proceedings. What they certainly seem guilty of, however, is trying influence the election by pressuring and essentially lying to the American public.
I don’t believe in censorship, so I don’t call for government action or repression. What I am calling for, however, is endless public shaming and that CBS be put in check by all and sundry. I grew up believing in the power of a free press and the power it can have in promoting freedom and clarifying the truth. Even though I’ve been completely disabused of this idea in recent years, I still believe that they should have at least a shred of credibility in this country if we are to survive.
Release the transcripts, you liars.
