“Trump will be impeached again” if Democrats control Congress, Montana Republican Senate candidate says

No Republican president in living memory has inspired the blind hatred of the left like Donald Trump. Not even Richard Nixon, for all his faults, inspired this seething anger, contempt, and willingness to casually cast aside historical and constitutional norms to harm him. Some leftists made noises about impeaching George W. Bush, but few of them were in Congress and there was no official trial, aside from an attempt by far-left politicians Dennis Kucinich and Robert Wexlerwhich led nowhere.

But Trump? Twice. The second impeachment farce took place after he left office. He was acquitted in the Senate both times, and the second Senate trial was arguably unconstitutional because 1) Trump was no longer in office and 2) the trial was not presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. This is a bit of a gray area as the Constitution requires it in Article 1 The Chief Justice presides when a president is on trialand Donald Trump was not president at the time; In fact, he held no office at all, which made the whole thing seem like pure malice on the part of congressional Democrats – which it was.

Tim Sheehy, Republican Senate candidate from Montana, warns us: “Democrats are not done yet – given the odds if Trump wins the election given the numbers in Congress – which is increasingly likely.” They will try again.

The former Navy SEAL argued that the re-election of Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) to a fourth term not only means that Donald Trump’s agenda could potentially be thwarted, but that the former president would also be impeached a third time if he were to return to power White House returned home.

“Make no mistake: If he doesn’t have a Congress to support his actions, we saw what happened last time. He’s been charged twice,” Sheehy told a compact group of supporters gathered for a rally Monday. “By the way, your senior senator, Jon Tester, voted to impeach him not once, but twice. If Trump doesn’t reach the Senate when he gets there, he will be impeached immediately.”

The case laid out by Sheehy comes in the remaining weeks of the costliest Senate race per vote in history and assumes Trump would retake the presidency while Democrats would retain the Senate and flip the House.

That’s a fair point. Given a majority in the House of Representatives, it is almost certain that Democrats would return to the same elderly source.

The GOP only needs to flip two Senate seats to win the majority, but polls show they could pick up five seats

The supply of blind hate and anger directed at former President Trump from the left appears to be limitless, and should he prevail against Kamala “Queen of Word Salads” Harris, the first woman of color nominee, this anger will multiply. And it’s about more than just the question of impeachment. If the Trump/Vance team wants to have any hope of pushing through much of its agenda, it needs a amiable Congress to do so – and it should allow for a two-year window, based on the historical trend that the party in power almost loses Off-year elections always raise seats in Congress.

If Trump/Vance win the election in three weeks, planning should actually begin. Whether formal or informal, the preparatory work should begin – with the drafting of draft laws. In January, when the up-to-date Congress meets, all the speaker of the House of Representatives has to do is slam the gavel and shout “GO!”

And yes, Democrats will literally be chanting “IMPEACHMENT” from day one. Bet on it. The best thing we can do as conservative and libertarian voters is to go to the polls and deny them as many seats as possible, not only to push a right-of-center agenda, but also a third, fourth or fifth seat to refuse impeachment circus.

As for the presidency, the best thing for America would be to send Kamala Harris to the unemployment rolls and send her Vice President Tim “I’d rather go hunting with Dick Cheney” Walz back to Minnesota. Vote as if the Republic depends on it – because it does.
