Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent attempt to attack former President Donald Trump for somehow “hiding” from the public is so silly that it’s strenuous to believe her campaign would succeed. Trump is everywhere, gives all kinds of interviews and far more than she does.

But she is desperate because the numbers seem to be trending in Trump’s direction. She has a tendency to tell and indulge in despicable lies, such as spreading the false story that Trump froze during an event and was confused when he stopped because there were two medical emergencies. Even ABC debunked the false story and described how well Trump handled the situation.

Trump simply destroys it in several interviews. He did the “Flagrant” podcast, for example. was a great interview because it showed his humanity and great sense of humor.

But in the interview he conducted Tuesday with Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait before the Economic Club of Chicago, he demonstrated his economic skills. He kept dropping facts about the hostile interviewer, and the audience of business people loved it, judging by the reaction.

Trump pointed out that the Republican Party is the party of common sense.

Micklethwait tried to attack him, saying there had been no “peaceful transfer of power”. But Trump reminded him that it was actually a “peaceful transfer” as the crowd clapped in approval.

Micklethwait said you had a peaceful transfer of power compared to Venezuela, and the crowd booed him when he said that. Trump reminded him that he had urged people to march “peacefully and patriotically” and that he appeared to have no problem with Democrats’ protests against the 2016 election. People threatened and tried to suppress voters. When Trump took office in 2017, leftists rioted in the streets, but this is forgotten and ignored.

Micklethwait tried to skewer him on inflation, but Trump ditched him by saying how good his time in office was on inflation, especially compared to Biden, and the audience loved it.

He also had a great argument with Micklethwait about tariff levels, which was great and again the audience clapped. He said all you had to do was build here and there would be no tariffs.

Trump also noted that it would have a huge positive effect, and the audience laughed when he simply dumped Micklethwait for being wrong.

“They’re trying to change that,” Micklethwaite stammered.

Yes, he had it in for you, and the audience loved it.

He thrilled the audience when he started eviscerating Gavin Newsom (or Newscum as he called him). He also called him out over an anti-voter ID measure.

The result? Standing ovation.

To top it off, Kamala Harris, who claims Trump is “hiding,” was invited, but she declined.

She couldn’t even begin to withstand these questions and demonstrate the knowledge that Trump has.
