Kamala Harris conducted one filibuster Interview with Fox News host Bret Baier in which she talked nonstop but said little, appeared to get livid several times and simply kept saying the name “Trump, Trump, Trump” when peppered with complex questions.

She’s so used to not being pushed back by a chatty corporate media that she seemed completely unprepared to deal with a journalist who actually went after her when she deflected.

The most devastating moments from the Train Wreck Fox interview with Kamala Harris

After the sit-down session, Baier revealed some inside information: Namely, that he is the Democrat when it comes to sports appointed The candidate tried to “put the kicker on the ice” by showing up slow:

Dana [Perino]I’ll give you a little look behind the scenes here. I know you love this and it fits Dana reads sports. You know, in football, when the kicker takes a timeout just before he’s about to kick the field goal; They “ice the kick”.

So we were supposed to start at 5:00 p.m.; That was the time they gave us. Originally we wanted to do 25 or 30 minutes. They came in and said, well, maybe 20. So it was already being cut, and then the vice president showed up around 5:15 p.m. We pushed ourselves to the limit to be able to make it around 6 p.m.

So that’s how it started.

Baier continued, explaining that the vice president’s strategy was to limit his questions once they finally started:

As we started talking, I realized it would be complex to redirect her without me trying to interrupt her. I did that with President Obama. At some point I just said: Mr. President, I know you like the filibuster. I just didn’t even have the chance [this time]to sometimes redirect in this way.

I had many other questions.

What a game of art. But Fox’s Dana Perino had an excellent point: To what end? They may have thought they were “getting on Baier and the network,” but in reality they were shooting themselves in the foot:

What a missed opportunity for them, right? … I know she had this one event just before, but what’s more vital on your campaign schedule today than this interview? If your goal as a candidate at this point is to win the day, to win the day’s newscast, then your interview with Fox is probably your most vital issue.

And I think you could tell at the end that they had to hustle to get to the top of the show and that they were trying to respect their time, but that would have been really engaging for them to be able to get to theirs team to say, “No, no, let’s move on; Brett, what else do you have?”

And let it continue.

She’s right about that. Harris’s supporters will no doubt be moved by her displays of emotion during this interview, but I imagine that very few undecideds or independents will be persuaded that she has once again dodged the real issues that matter most to Americans.

Team Trump made it very clear what they thought of the session: They dismissed the entire interview as one giant campaign ad. They are just comical:
