I don’t know about you, but of all the members of Congress, there’s no one I’d rather see fall than California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff. Whether it’s Shifty’s smugness, blatant hypocrisy, or serial lies, this guy is the political hack I’d most like to see harmed by his own actions.

While I’m not in the forecasting business, I will say that Schiff may be on the verge of grave criminal charges, including tax and election fraud, the likes of which few D.C. lawmakers have seen.

Here’s a quick one Summary about Schiff’s predicament as it is now:

In the two decades before he was nominated by Democrats for the 2024 U.S. Senate run in California, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff repeatedly stated in mortgage and election filings that his two homes — one in California and the others in Maryland – his “owner” are residence.” The claims have now led to an ethics complaint and could be prosecuted as fraud, experts said.

So what’s the problem?

America’s homeowners are only allowed to claim one home as their primary residence: the home in which they live most of the year. after to government-backed lender Freddie Mac. Still, on several mortgage and election forms dating back to 2003 and 2003, Schiff alternately declared homes in California and Maryland as the “primary loan.” checked from Just the News.

Why would Schiff do that?

These contradictory affidavits provided the California congressman with both financial and monetary benefitsPolitical benefits over the years, most notably lower mortgage rates, tax benefits and the ability to run for election to a California House of Representatives.

Oh, come on. Shifty wouldn’t do that, would he? The rabble-rouser who first claimed “Russian collusion” to help Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election (unsuccessfully) and later incessantly declared that Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop was “Russian disinformation,” which also turns out to be nonsense proven? No, definitely not.

Yes, Away:

In at least three cases, documents show that in 2009 and back in 2011 And 2013Schiff refinanced his Maryland home and declared it his “principal residence,” while simultaneously declaring that his primary residence was in California 2009 And 2011 Financing documents for his condo in Burbank.

The pattern was first discovered by Sacramento-based real estate investigator Christine Bish, who is also running for Congress this year as a Republican. She filed an ethics complaint against Schiff in Congress.

Bish claims in her complaint: “Depending on the tax history and the statements or misrepresentations made, Adam Schiff may also be guilty of tax fraud.”

After reviewing the documents at Just the News’ request, retired FBI supervisory special agent Jeff Danik said the documented allegations carry significant criminal penalties if substantiated:

These are grave, documented allegations that, if substantiated, carry significant criminal penalties. [The DOJ] maintains a tough anti-fraud department that regularly investigates similar allegations, and the 10-year statute of limitations on bank fraud investigations would allow for a comprehensive investigation.

Neither Schiff nor his office responded to Just the News’ requests for comment by phone or email.

Poetic justice

Retired U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins of Little Rock, Arkansas, who prosecuted many financial fraud cases during his tenure, told Just the News:

[Schiff] has lied to the American people more times than I can count, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to learn that he misled his bank. These mortgage claims deserve a fair and neutral investigation by both Congress and the DOJ, but fair and neutral investigations appear to be almost extinct.

How true. Articles like this tend to attract comments about “strongly worded statements” and the like, but have little consequence. I understand it. I agree too. Nevertheless, we report what happened as accurately as possible and also hope that in the end justice will be served to those who deserve it.

No one deserves consequences more than Adam Schiff.
