And once again there are primaries in several states and a special election in California on Tuesday. Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky and Oregon are holding presidential and/or congressional primaries.
California is holding a special election for CD-20 to determine who will serve the remainder of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s term. Both candidates who emerged from the March election and will face each other in this runoff are Republicans: State Assemblyman Vince Fong (endorsed by McCarthy and former President Donald Trump) and Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux.
