As we reported, things didn’t go well at Vice President Kamala Harris’ CNN town hall.

Harris focused primarily on former President Donald Trump, but failed to explain the fundamental question of why she had failed to resolve any of the issues she spoke about in the last four years she was in office. In fact, it only made the problems worse. “I point out things that need to be done, that haven’t been done, and that need to be done,” she whined to Anderson Cooper.

As we reported, Dana Bash said people didn’t think she made the deal; She couldn’t name a legislative priority.

She might have “closed the deal” – but in favor of Trump.

Even Jake Tapper emphasized that she was more focused on Trump than on giving “concrete” answers.

Here was a great example of that when she lied about the wall that Trump built – he built almost 500 miles of wall, and the only reason he didn’t build more was because the Democrats kept trying to stop him along the way to prevent it.

Then the Biden-Harris team wasted millions not completing the wall. It was crazy.

Her response to the border question was essentially that she was a prosecutor and that the system was “broken.”

Things were better under Trump, and she deliberately broke it.

Even David Axelrod talked about how she didn’t respond and offered “word salad city” instead. “She wouldn’t admit concerns about the government’s guidelines and that’s a mistake,” he said, also showing no rapport with the people who asked her questions.

When even Axelrod insults her, you know it’s pretty bad.

But perhaps the funniest thing was how commentator David Urban summed it up and how people around him, especially Democratic activist David Axelrod, looked disheartened.

Urban said Republicans would wait another hour for Harris to speak: “We would just press play and let her get on with it.” The more she talks, the worse it gets. She now defines herself by not answering, and people don’t like that, as the dive polls show. Urban called out the word salad answer she had given and asked her why she hadn’t solved the problems while she had been in the office for four years. He explained her response regarding costs by saying she would “prosecute companies.” How does this improve costs overall? Even Van Jones nodded at that and said, “Yes, that wasn’t good.“Trump bad is not a message that will get her elected,” Urban concluded.

The look on Axelrod’s face was golden – that said it all.

Talk about a unhappy trumpet.
