Michelle Obama supported Kamala Harris at an event in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Saturday. She didn’t do much for Harris; She wasn’t out there like her husband. This is her first campaign appearance outside of the DNC in August, and we’re almost to the election. She could hardly have done less.
But to be fair, Kamala’s surrogates Barack Obama and Bill Clinton didn’t fare well either. They seem to accidentally throw her under the bus and get on it instead of helping her.
Barack basically attacked black men for not supporting them enough, claiming they were misogynistic. Then Clinton admitted that Biden and Harris had failed to properly vet illegal immigrants — like the person who allegedly killed Laken Riley.
Now it’s Michelle Obama’s turn. Once again, just like her husband, it was someone who was livid, preaching to you, and telling a fantasy land of untruths about her “dear friend” Kamala Harris.
Obama said they were ready to end the politics of division when they had been the main proponents of such politics. Even the most recent ad Harris put out is so low it’s a little breathtaking considering how vile they are when it comes to stoking divisions and accusing Trump of “Asian hatred,” a murder, and even Japanese ones internment camps (which were ordered by Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt).

She scolded men, saying if they didn’t vote properly, their wives and daughters could become “collateral damage.”

Then she threw a tantrum and said she lay awake at night wondering, “Why is this race even close?”
After realizing that her candidate is terrible, Michelle Obama has decided that the best strategy is to suggest that Americans are racist and sexist for not supporting Kamala Harris.

But I agree with Michelle, it shouldn’t be nearly as bad considering how terrible Harris is. You can already hear Mrs. Obama making an excuse for Harris’ defeat: Americans weren’t ready for a woman, you horrible sexist people. Echoes of her husband’s faux pas with black men.
She’s so upset that Americans just won’t accept what she says. But things got even funnier when she described Kamala. Harris is the opposite of everything she says here:

She fearlessly confronts even her harshest critics. She looks to Republicans to find common ground. And unlike her opponent, she doesn’t shy away from interviews or cower in protected spaces from sycophantic audiences. No, she shows us what a sensible stable manager looks like. She doesn’t lose her train of thought or stumble over her words. And she does it all with panache and grace. That’s because Kamala Harris is an adult.
This is the person who hid and didn’t give an interview for weeks. She did not face her “harshest critics”. She has hidden behind sycophantic or softball interviews, except for one Fox interview where she tried to filibuster and ended up tripping over herself. Meanwhile, Trump has conducted interviews with everyone, including interviews that Harris ducks, like the “Joe Rogan experience.” She’s not looking to Republicans to find common ground. No, she finds “Republicans” like Liz Cheney who have already allied themselves with Democrats who have been rejected and/or voted out by other Republicans.
And how have the Democratic “adults” fared in the White House? Much to our chagrin, not very well, which is why people want to vote her out.

What higher standard? Is she kidding? Virtually no standards were applied to Harris. She won the nomination through an anti-democratic move and did not receive a single vote from voters for the top job. It refuses to provide definitive answers to fundamental questions. If you’re having a fit like this now, it’s because you don’t have any contact with the voters. That’s their fault, not the voters’ fault.

Obama is upset that we expect Harris to be “intelligent, articulate, and clear-headed in his policies.” Yes, what a shock – how can we expect that?
“Never show too much anger, always prove that you belong.” We’re not talking about you now, Michelle, you’re not the candidate. No, Kamala is not the victim here.
This is a pretty hilarious attempt at remaking Kamala.
But this is an interview for the most crucial service job in the country.
We need to know that people have the ability to do that, and Harris has certainly shown that she can’t.
