A group affiliated with Kamala Harris is running an ad showing a newborn man masturbating while watching porn on his phone. The ad is part of a $2.5 million ad buy in seven battleground states – Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada – by Progress Action Fund And Defend the voteis titled “Republicans Rubbing You the Wrong Way.”
The ad features a newborn man spending the empty hours trying to facilitate himself, when suddenly his composure is undermined by an elderly Republican congressman stomping around his ugly bedroom in his parents’ basement. This ad supposedly supports the theme promoted by the two sponsoring groups that Republicans are bent on meddling in people’s private lives. Considering what Democrats were willing to do during the coronavirus crisis is clear evidence that irony is dead and primed.
If you’re offended by (hopefully) simulated masturbation, you probably don’t want to watch the video.
GOP Congressman: Sorry. You can’t do that
Wanker: What the fuck, man! How did you get in here?
GOP Congressman: I’m your Republican Congressman. Now that we’re in charge, we’re banning porn nationwide.
Wanker: You can’t tell me what to do! Get out of my bedroom, you bastard!
GOP Congressman: I won the last election, so it’s my decision. I’ll just watch and make sure you don’t finish…illegally.
According to an “X” account, which supposedly belongs to a Democratic group, the ad is working.
I doubt there is anything “massive” about this ad. I would also like to see how they selected the sample for the supposed market research. On the other hand, I don’t want to think about it.
When I first saw this ad I thought it was some kind of parody. Unfortunately, it’s real. It’s a complement to the $100,000 “Keep Your Hands Off My Porn” campaign, which focuses on the threat that Project 2025 (the political version of what the first ad claims to be banned) poses to the hardcore -porn industry. Lucky voters in swing states have a chance to enjoy this along with the pro-wank advertising.
Even if there is no Republican initiative to rid the country of porn, even if there were, it is doubtful that such a thing would be constitutional; This gives us a glimpse into how Democrats think and what they think is essential.
