Donald Trump loves to coin fresh names/nicknames for people and things right at the start of his speech at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night in New York City, while reminding everyone that Election Day is just nine days away Republican presidential candidate and former presidential candidate The president called it America’s “Liberation Day.”
One could view this speech at the eminent arena – better known for concerts by popular musicians or sporting events – as Trump’s closing argument to voters. The rally had a field worthy of the hype, including speakers as diverse as Bobby Kennedy Jr., Elon Musk, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and a very special surprise guest who introduced Trump’s appearance.
This surprise speaker was none other than former first lady Melania Trump her first appearance on the stump during the 2024 election cycle since the Republican National Convention:

Melania’s positive message fit perfectly into her husband’s speech; A key component of Trump’s closing argument was a positive tone that some might find extremely un-Nazi. However, over the last week, Democrats have worked so challenging to create this strange and threatening narrative.

Donald Trump delivered a “message of hope” and vowed to “bring back the American dream” for millions of Americans currently discouraged and hanging on by their fingernails, with opponent and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris watching with Bidenomics:
PRESIDENT TRUMP: “I am here today with a message of hope for all Americans: With your vote in this election, I will end inflation, I will stop the invasion of criminals into our country, and I will bring back the American dream – – Our country will be bigger, better, bolder,… pic.twitter.com/7XcDZex5Gg

During the speech, he introduced two new policies, including support for a new tax credit designed to help families caring for their sick parent or other family member:

He also announced the ability to make auto loan interest tax deductible, which ironically ended during Ronald Reagan’s administration (remember that). Tax Reform Act of 1986? That included reducing the burden of having credit cards.) Regardless, Trump has taken his own approach, saying on Sunday that the plan might only apply if the car was made in the United States
Trump also made it clear that he and his running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-OH), are running not only against the debacles that Harris and President Joe Biden have inflicted on the country, but also against the bureaucratic power structure that, like puppets, runs its strings draws:
PRESIDENT TRUMP: “We’re not just running against Kamala – she means nothing. She’s just a vessel – we’re up against something far bigger than Joe or Kamala and more powerful than them, namely a huge, evil, crooked, radical left-wing machine that runs today’s… pic.twitter.com/qBysdNKtSF

He then attacked Harris, pointing to actions from her time as attorney general and U.S. senator, when she destroyed California, and the time she failed to become the person who is now within a heartbeat of the White House away from the Presidency:

Now that you’ve seen more of Trump’s speech (a great point about China and Biden-Harris’ negligence was previously covered by RedState’s Bob Hoge), does any of it look or sound like a Nazi rally? My colleague Jennifer Oliver O’Connell has some of the crazy reactions to the stunning success that Trump and his surrogates achieved in the historic hall – and it’s lovely to point and laugh at people like this:
Not exactly a coup rally, oops! HOT TAKES: Much to the chagrin of Democrats, no Nazis were found at Trump’s MAGA Square Garden rally
As the sounds of “New York, New York” filled the air, Melania rejoined her husband on stage. Former President. Emphasizing the message of New York legend Frank Sinatra’s classic signature song, Trump sang along to the final refrain, “If you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere,” as the live singer triumphantly intoned his final chant.
Everyone, whether you are in a red state or a swing state, make sure you vote between now and November 5th. Also, fight, fight, fight to make sure every legal vote is counted. The country depends on you!
