“He will stage a coup!” “Trump will steal the election!” “Trump will put a giant swastika over the White House!”
Okay, I just made up the last question, but the first two are the reactions we’re seeing from nervous Democrats after Trump said he had “a little secret” at his Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday.
Oh, so scary:
“We have to get the senators elected because we can take the Senate pretty easily… and I think with our little secret we’ll do really well in the House, right? Our little secret is to have a big one.” He and I have a secret. We’ll tell you what it is when the race starts. pic.twitter.com/qkCJFwnyM5

“We’ll tell you what it is when the race is over.” ~ President Trump in conversation with Matt Gaetz.
His comments caused a stir among Democrats her knickers in a twist:
His remarks, delivered with a laugh, reportedly sparked a wave of fear and panic among Democrats, who speculated that Trump may have been referring to attempts to steal the election.
The potentially hazardous Trump plot was really on the mind of one of the most despicable members of Congress, Dan Goldman:
Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., told the Times he understood Trump to have a “backup plan” in case Republicans lose the election.
“There are many opportunities for a bad actor to mess with the Electoral College when he is the speaker of the House,” he said. “If I’m wrong, they should say so. Trump has many secrets: his medical records are secret, his taxes are secret, his phone conversations with Vladimir Putin are secret. Clearly he is hiding a lot from the American people. Now. “He has openly stated that he is hiding something from the voters.”
Rep. Dan Goldman: Trump has hinted that he has a secret with Mike Johnson. I suspect Trump’s little secret plan with Mike Johnson is that if he loses, he’ll try to go to the House of Representatives to overturn the Electoral College and get the House of Representatives under Mike Johnson to overturn this election. pic.twitter.com/ZnwSDMPYDX

Don’t worry, we’ll get you a teddy bear to touch, Dan.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) found the whole glitch hilarious and revealed that there’s actually nothing scary at all – the secret is a campaign. Creepy!

Johnson:
“It’s nothing scandalous, but we have fun with it. The media’s heads are exploding. ‘What’s the secret?'” Johnson told a crowd of about 90 people at a rally in support of Republican congressional candidate Ryan Mackenzie on Monday, after a person in the crowd asked about the comment.
“That’s what we’re about – it’s about getting out the vote. “This is one of our tactics to get in the election,” Johnson said.
“But they’re convinced,” he added, rubbing his hands dramatically as if he were hatching some evil plan.
Democrats are always a shrill, hysterical lot, and with this latest round of scaremongering they are once again revealing their true selves. While Johnson didn’t reveal the full details of the campaign, it certainly doesn’t sound like a “Dr. “Evil” Hitlerian conspiracy to hijack the American government.
However, leave it to Dan Goldman to sweat it out over a little comment he made during an hour-long rally.
