We are nearing the finish line of the 2024 election, as Election Day is November 5th and, of course, early voting is already underway in many states.

As I wrote recently, Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake and Rep. Ruben Gallego (D) were neck-and-neck, with the added certainty that former President Donald Trump had a lead over Vice President in the polls in the Copper State Kamala Harris retains.

This week brings more positive news for the Lake camp as two polls show the former Phoenix news anchor leading her far-left liberal opponent. On Tuesday, Data Orbital released a poll that showed Republicans at 45.2 percent and Democrats at 44.5 percent. (The poll was conducted between October 26 and 28 among 550 likely voters, with a margin of error of +/- 4.26.)

The Lake campaign shared a statement after the poll was released that read:

“The momentum is with President Trump and Kari Lake, and given Republicans’ record numbers in early voting, we are confident that Arizonans will deliver a victory to both Trump and Lake one week from now, on November 5th.”

Then on Thursday, AtlasIntel released a series of Senate polls for swing states, including the Arizona contest. Of note: Lake is the only GOP candidate leading his Democratic opponent in the pollster’s data:

At what time? As in the first poll, these numbers show that she is only about one point (0.7) ahead of Gallego. And given the possibility of clinging to Trump’s coattails, that could be just enough to eclipse Lake on Election Day. We’ll see.

As my colleague Nick Arama previously wrote, AtlasIntel also reported new numbers for the presidential race among battleground states; Trump remains three points ahead of Harris in Arizona. The pollster wrote:

Trump’s advantage over his opponent is clearest in states like AZ, NV and NC.
