The Trump-Vance campaign and the Republican National Committee have achieved another victory in the fight against election interference and to preserve the integrity of the 2024 election. RNC co-chair Michael Whatley just posted this update on the social media platform X.
BIG election integrity victory in Georgia.
Democratic-led Cobb County wanted to accept 3,000 mail-in ballots AFTER the Election Day deadline. We took this case to the Georgia Supreme Court.
We just found out we WON the case. Election day is election day – not the week…

BIG election integrity victory in Georgia.
Democratic-run Cobb County wanted to accept 3,000 mail-in ballots AFTER the Election Day deadline.
We took this case to the Georgia Supreme Court.
We just found out we WON the case.
Election day is election day – not the week after.
We will keep fighting, keep winning and keep sharing updates.
The RNC responded both quickly and aggressively to combat voter fraud and election interference, particularly in key battleground states. As RedState reported, in addition to what happened in Cobb County, the RNC has also filed lawsuits against other Georgia counties that are majority Democratic strongholds. Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Athens-Clarke, Clayton and Chatham counties have attempted to illegally count ballots and block Republican poll watchers from entering their offices. Democratic-run Cobb County illegally changed rules to allow 3,000 mail-in ballots after the scheduled vote Deadline for Election Day.
Cobb County delayed mailing 3,000 mail-in ballots, prompting a judge to extend the return deadline to Nov. 8 as long as they were postmarked by Election Day. To ensure timely delivery, officials have used express delivery. pic.twitter.com/nZlpDXHMLW

In a remarkable move to ensure voting remains accessible, Cobb County has taken an extraordinary step to accommodate voters who were inadvertently caught in a mail-in ballot snafu. A district court judge’s order last Friday extended the return deadline for a certain group of voters identified as “affected voters” so that their ballots can be counted in the upcoming election. If you requested a mail-in ballot by October 25th and it was not mailed by October 30th, this also applies to you. You can easily determine your status as an affected voter by visiting the website Cobb County Elections website.
The ACLU of Georgia even got involved and filed a countersuit to try to include mail-in ballots in the electoral vote count.

But the RNC gave no quarter and ensured the integrity of the vote on Election Day. The RNC has promised it will not stop fighting until all legal votes are secured and counted. RNC co-chair Lara Trump posted on
“Our message is crystal clear: Don’t cheat,” Lara Trump wrote. “If you do this, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.”
