After President Donald Trump’s huge victory on Tuesday, there is now a lot of talk about a popular mandate.

He beat Kamala Harris so decisively that at this point you can’t even hear her talking about ways to challenge the election. It remains to be seen if they make any comical deals between now and January 20, 2025. But the American people made the saying “too big to rig” true by being as huge as the win was.

It contradicted the ridiculous estimates from things like the Selzer poll that suggested Trump would lose Iowa. But not only did he win Iowa by a wide margin, he also won or won across all demographics. Harry Enten, senior data analyst at CNN, explained how historic the numbers were: “Holy Toledo!”

Enten laid out the facts.

More states (49 + DC) have moved Trump’s way from the last election than any other since 1992.

“Holy Toledo. Oh my God,” Enten explained. “These are the types of groups that eight years ago you would never have imagined that Donald Trump would have this much support from.”

It’s also the Republicans’ best showing among 18- to 29-year-olds in 20 years, black voters in 48 years and Hispanic voters in 52+ years, he said.

Additionally, Trump had the best Republican performance in the popular vote in the House of Representatives in a presidential year since 1928, Enten continued. So the Republicans will probably have the House of Representatives as well as the Senate and the presidency. It also seems that Trump will also end up with a solid election victory.

Let’s not forget this point Enten also made about the election polls and how well Trump did with Latino men, the best for a Republican candidate since election polls began in the 1970s and ten points better than Kamala Harris.

Talk about a historic mandate and a rejection of the Democrats – that’s all. They didn’t believe “Hitler.” They didn’t believe in “racism.” They did not believe in a “threat to democracy.” They recognized the lies and rejected them. They believed in what they had already seen from Trump: strength, peace and a good economy.
