Democrats are having a strenuous time coming to terms with the election results.

Given President-elect Donald Trump’s overwhelming victory, you can see that some people on the left are unable to deal with this. Some attack voters, while others claim some sort of voter fraud, including bizarre conspiracy theories about Russians and Starlink.

But definitely two people who are having the hardest time with the results are outgoing Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), who lost to Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania but apparently doesn’t want to come to terms with it, and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-PA). -NY), who will no longer be the Senate majority leader. Casey refuses to concede and Schumer had said he would not invite McCormick to the Senate orientation.

That sounds a lot like election denial, folks.

This was met with a lot of backlash, especially from people on the other side of the aisle.

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) called Schumer a “big baby.”

Schmitt said that he, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) would aid him navigate despite Schumer. Schmitt said it’s not just about McCormick, but also about the people who elected him. They deserve to give him the guidance so he can get started. McCormick also said he would attend despite Schumer.

Now Schumer has finally given in and said McCormick will be invited.

Republicans had sharply criticized Schumer after McCormick was not invited to the orientation because the ballots were still outstanding and a recount was looming. But McCormick was ahead with 0.5% of the vote and 98% turned out

That’s what Republicans need to do: pull everyone together in the face of the Democrats’ stupidity and get what the people want. McCormick was well ahead and the race was canceled; he simply refuses to admit. He still posts about it on X.

Good for the Republicans for looking Schumer in the face and showing him that he has no options. They need to do more of that, and now they have the strength in numbers to get things done.

Schmitt wrote: “Mission accomplished.”

Bonus points:

The victory is good.
