President-elect Trump has announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will jointly lead the newly created “Department of Government Efficiency,” or DOGE… unrelated to the cryptocurrency of the same name.
We don’t know what this fresh entity will look like, but we do know that it will lack neither energy nor ingenuity Mission to achieve great things.
I am pleased to announce that the great Elon Musk will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (“DOGE”) in collaboration with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy. Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my administration to cut government bureaucracy, eliminate excessive regulations, cut wasteful spending and restructure federal agencies – indispensable to the Save America movement. “This will send shockwaves through the system and everyone involved in government waste, which is a lot of people!” explained Mr. Musk.
It may become the “Manhattan Project” of our time. Republican politicians have been dreaming about the goals of “DOGE” for a very long time. To advance these types of dramatic changes, the Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside government, working with the White House and the Office of Management & Budget to advance large-scale structural reforms and develop an entrepreneurial approach to government that has never been done before seen before.
I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the federal bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency while improving life for all Americans. Importantly, we prevent the massive waste and fraud inherent in our $6.5 trillion in annual government spending. They will work together to liberate our economy and hold the U.S. government accountable to “WE THE PEOPLE.” Your work will be completed no later than July 4, 2026. A smaller government with more efficiency and less bureaucracy would be the perfect gift to America on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. I am confident that they will succeed!
I don’t know about you, but after today I’m ready for a cigarette and possibly a damp wipe.
