Democrats in deep blue states are already drawing up plans to thwart President-elect Donald Trump’s attempts to clamp down on illegal immigration in America.
The plan? According to a New York Times report, he simply refused to enforce the law Report published on Saturday.
The Times notes that the Resistance Party is trying to move away from silly protests with “pink knit hats and homemade signs” and will instead “blank” the fresh president as he enters the Oval Office.
“As they face this difficult political landscape, Democratic officials, activists and ambitious politicians are trying to build their second wave of opposition to Mr. Trump from the places they still control: the deep blue states,” they write.
In these liberal enclaves — the last bastions of liberalism left behind by a red wave election that completely rejected their policies — prominent Democratic officials plan to ignore various federal laws or codify fresh ones into their own state laws.
“Democrats envision using their power in these states to partially block Trump administration policies — for example, by refusing to enforce immigration laws — and to advance their vision of governance by passing state laws restricting abortion rights enshrine, fund paid leave and introduce a laundry list of other party priorities,” writes the Times.

Screwing up the blue states even more, yes, Trump will show that. https://t.co/1V9NFAyfrW

Deep blue states are already havens for illegal immigrants, which by definition means they already ignore immigration law to the detriment of their citizens.
But to see the Times put it in print is something of an admission that these Democratic cesspools are committed to lawlessness by writing conflicting laws to counteract federal immigration law and defy the sovereignty of this great nation.
This desire to break away from law-abiding states, enact independent laws, and protect criminal institutions has not existed since the Civil War.
The Times notes that these fresh resistance plans were already in the works before the election, an emergency measure in case Trump wins. And in a direct rebuke of their concerns, Trump won. Handy.
“The preparations were largely kept secret to avoid public doubt about the Democrats’ ability to win the election,” the report said.
And if the public had expected Democrats to ignore one of their biggest election concerns — rampant illegal immigration and related crime on their streets — Kamala Harris would undoubtedly have received even fewer votes.
If you plan Ignoring it under Trump means you was ignoring it under Biden. Voters recognize these subtleties. They didn’t want it to last four more years.
The Times report adds that Democrats in these blue states have already enlisted “hundreds of lawyers” to “fight the Trump administration’s policies on a range of Democratic priorities.”
And they are already hunting down plaintiffs “to challenge regulations, laws and administrative actions expected from day one.”
If there was ever an admission that it couldn’t be done what is right That’s what this is about, but it’s more about fighting the man in office and then randomly finding people who you think will be most affected by the fresh administration. Actually an ambulance chase.
After the election was over, some of these deep blue state warriors revealed their previously secret plans with public statements declaring war on the fresh president and his administration.
Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey (D) immediately drew a line under potential mass deportations under a Trump administration, pledging to invoke “executive authority” to protect the state’s “citizens” and “residents.”

Of course, illegal aliens are by no means “citizens”…unless you ignore immigration law in the first place.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul initiated this Empire State Freedom Initiative to combat political threats from the Trump administration, including on immigration issues. She made the announcement at a bizarre press conference where she and Attorney General Letitia James vowed to be warriors in the fight to stop what the American people just voted for.
Gov. Kathy Hochul and AG Letitia James urge Trump to cooperate with support or they will “fight.”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom, as RedState editor Jennifer Van Laar so gently put it, “doubled down on his stupidity” with a proclamation after the election Calling a special meeting the California Legislature.
The session is intended to “protect California values and fundamental rights in the face of a new Trump administration” by “strengthening California’s legal resources to protect civil rights, reproductive freedom, climate action and immigrant families.”

And rounding out the quadrumvirate of lawlessness was Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), who threatened the president-elect: “You’re coming for my people, you’re coming through me.”
Why, when they talk about “their people,” do they mostly mean illegals and criminals?

By the way, Pritzker uses the same line about “coming through me” when defending his position in line at the Red Apple Buffet in Chicago.
The NYT reveals sources indicating Democrats plan to ignore immigration law once Trump is in office. Several governors came forward to lay out this plan in black and white. This confirms the party of lawlessness.
Still, the report notes that “federal Democrats will be unlikely to be able to pass legislation or stop Mr. Trump’s agenda.”
Instead, they will only further bury their own states, turning them into crime-infested sewers. If they weren’t already.
