Scott Presler has been committed to helping Republicans make significant voter and electoral gains in Pennsylvania for several years, an effort that paid off when Donald Trump scored win over Kamala Harris by almost two percent.
Presler stated His next goal was to defeat New Jersey in the 2025 gubernatorial race, and now, based on his comments on Wednesday, it looks like he’ll be booked through at least 2027. At a meeting in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he told the county’s Democratic commissioners, “I’m coming for your seats.”
These are the same commissioners who are currently trying to secure a Senate seat for Republican Dave McCormick. RedState’s Bonchie reported on the misdeeds committed in Bucks County last week:
Admitting to breaking the law shortly before Donald Trump takes over the Justice Department is a decision made by two Pennsylvania election officials in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In a shocking video, Democratic Commissioner Diane Marseglia can be heard announcing that she will willfully ignore several court rulings regarding the counting of illegal votes.
The focus is on a contentious Senate race in which Republican Dave McCormick defeated incumbent Democratic Senator Bob Casey. Yet Democrats in Pennsylvania continue to try to manipulate votes to overturn the results.
And they didn’t keep serene about it.
Yes, that’s Democrat Diane Marseglia bragging that she had no intention of following state election law, saying, “…court precedent no longer matters in this country.” And people break the law whenever they want. To me. “If I break this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court stepped in and ordered lawbreakers like Marseglia to “put a stop to it,” in the words of RedState’s own legal expert Susie Moore.
Scott Presler goes a step further and puts Buck’s County’s law-abusing Democrats on notice: He’s after them. An obviously incensed Presler didn’t hold back.
Here is some of what he told the Bucks Country commissioners and the assembled audience.
Bucks County has been in the news a lot this year. Previously, we flipped Bucks County from blue to red, and for the first time in newfangled history, there are more registered Republicans than Democrats here in this county.
Second, voters in this district have been disenfranchised, and I want to thank RNC Chair Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump for suing to ensure we have three additional days of early in-person voting had.
After reminding the commissioners that their actions have now put them on the “world stage,” Presler congratulated President-elect Donald J. Trump and Senator-elect Dave McCormick and vowed not to let them take the Senate seat away from McCormick.
Presler then confronted Diane Marseglia directly:
And I have a message: We will peacefully demand your seat in 2027 if you do not resign today.
To which Marseglia shot back, “Do it.” Presler assured her we would and promised to spend “the next three years in Bucks County” to get the commission into the red zone in 2027.
Diane Marseglia and her fellow campaigners should heed not only Scott Presler’s warnings, but voters’ warnings: We’re tired of you thinking you’re above the law. The Diane Marseglias of this world appear to be the last to get the memo that their dubious approach was soundly defeated at the ballot box two weeks ago.
All signs point to Democrats having learned nothing from 2024, so the next few years will be invigorating to watch.
