If you had told me that the Biden campaign team would show up at the Trump trial with a Hollywood liberal to attack their political opponent and confirm that this was all just political, I probably would have said no, even they can’t be that stupid.
Turns out they’re even worse and more naive than I thought they would be, and that’s saying something since my bar for them was already so low. The American people already thought this was political, and now they’ve just confirmed it by showing up. On top of that, they brought in a Hollywood liberal, Robert De Niro, to talk about Trump. So instead of talking about how they could make things better or why anyone should vote for Biden, they made De Niro lose his mind and, as they always do, made it an attempt to instill fear that Trump is a threat to democracy.

Biden campaign holds wild press conference ahead of Trump trial, with special guest… Robert De Niro?
Trump’s team condemns Biden campaign’s crazy press conference and describes how desperate Democrats are
Hey, guys? You’re the people who show up to a trial against your political opponent. And you want to say Trump is a threat to democracy? Look in the mirror.
But no one bought what they were selling, and even the Trump supporters in the courthouse made fun of them.
Warning about figurative language:
Robert De Niro loses his temper as he leaves the Democrats’ press conference on the Trump trial surrounded by security personnel, cursing at demonstrators:
DE NIRO: “You are gangsters!
Protesters: “You are finished.”
DE NIRO: “F*** you.” https://t.co/snQeCdx3SC pic.twitter.com/y0WjcO2zJe

Let the mockery begin.
Why the hell was De Niro wearing a mask?
OMG.
The Biden team holds an urgent press conference as part of the Trump trial.
Your expert? Robert De Niro with N95 mask.

Dan McLaughlin of the National Review sharply attacked them for violating Trump’s rights.
Explain to me how a defendant’s right to a fair trial under Sheppard v. Maxwell is not violated when THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES holds a press conference outside the courthouse the day before the jury is to begin deliberations to demand a conviction.

So true, they came right when the case was about to be handed over to the jury – were they crazy? Like I said, they want to talk about Trump because he’s the guy who breaks all the norms. But now they’ve just given Trump another potential argument.
My favorite comment came from journalist David Marcus, who pointed out the look on Biden’s communications director Michael Tyler’s face. It was priceless.
You can see Michel Tyler, Biden’s communications director, looking over De Niro’s shoulder and thinking, “I just destroyed my entire career.” https://t.co/rBw1NbH4mo

The car alarm was a perfect highlight for the Biden campaign team’s flashing alarm and how desperate they are.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think that’s the message James Carville was trying to convey to the Biden campaign…that strategy seems as doomed to failure as claiming the problem is shrinkflation, not inflation.
It wouldn’t shock me if Carville had set off the car alarm. pic.twitter.com/4QgVTxBSSw— ZitoSalena (@ZitoSalena) May 28, 2024
And just like Tyler’s career, Biden’s campaign ended up in the trash and thus insignificant.
Wasn’t it only a week ago that the same press outlets that applauded Biden claimed that when Republicans arrived on the court, they would change the legal system forever??? https://t.co/YIWu5g1wvM

I can’t imagine Americans being content about this, and it will only make more people support Trump when they see Biden doing this. If the indictment helped Trump, it will give his campaign a boost.
This is the step of a lost campaign https://t.co/pqEXG8bqAE
