MSNBC’s Joy Reid compares resistance to “gender-affirming care” for “trans” children to Nazism

Following President-elect Donald Trump’s decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in November’s presidential election, MSNBC’s ratings are already in the toilet before the election – have continued to sink faster than Michael Moore, who slurped down a bag of McDonald’s Quarter Pounders with cheese.

Then things got even worse for the hopelessly biased, TDS-riddled network after parent company Comcast announced that it would spin off MSNBC into a separate entity along with fellow Comcast-owned networks CNBC, Oxygen, E!, Syfy and the Golf Channel . MSNBC’s on-air hosts were visibly shaken, and top “talent” Rachel Maddow reportedly took a $5 million annual pay cut.

MSNBC has only itself to blame for its uncertain future, and at the top of the list of its predicament, in my not-so-humble opinion, is Trump-loathing, racist extraordinaire Joy Reid, host of “The ReidOut.”

My headline tells the story. Do this on one long list of stories about Reid’s bitter, delusional show.

Look if you compare Opposition to so-called “gender-affirming care” — which includes hormone injections, irreversible mutilation of minors’ bodies, including double mastectomies and castrations — to… wait for it… Nazism in 1930s Germany, you’re more than a little bit of your Trump-hating rocker. Here’s Reid:

Targeting transsexuals is nothing fresh. It is a centuries-old tradition that Nazi Germany maintained with brutal force in the 1930s. While the Supreme Court has refused to take action on weapons of war in schools, it appeared inclined today to uphold Tennessee’s ban on gender-specific care for minors.

Yes, I have nothing.

Reid opened the ridiculous segment by spitting out a list of radical-left grievances against Trump and the Republican Party:

America deals with many issues, from food prices to gun violence, which is the leading cause of death among children and teenagers, but the one issue that Republicans successfully exploited in this year’s election was their fear of the transgender community. Republicans spent at least $215 million on anti-trans TV ads, with the most prominent ad coming from the Trump campaign itself.

Uh-huh. And Kamala Harris has wasted more than a billion dollars comparing Trump to Hitler and his followers to Nazis. How about it? The All right, Ms. Reid? Then she tried an analogy that was anything but analogous:

By comparison, across the 50 states, adult transgender Americans make up 0.5, not 5, 0.5 percent of the population, or 1.3 million Americans out of about 320 million. There are just over 300,000 transgender youth in America. That’s 1.4 percent of all teenage people between the ages of 13 and 17. That would be the numerical equivalent of the Republican Party targeting the entire city of Phoenix, Arizona, population 1.65 million, because they don’t like the desert landscape.

The point?

It would only take a so-called “transgender” athlete (a biological male) to seriously injure or, God forbid, kill a female athlete at a women’s sporting event, and I’m talking about an accidental accident. Sorry Ms Reid, we’re still not convinced.

Finally, Reid showed two headlines without commenting on their context. On the other hand, you don’t compare the administration of hormones with the administration of hormones 10 year olds the Nazi Concentration camp is beyond absurd.

On the other hand, we’ve known for years that Joy Reid is beyond absurd.
