As we reported, FBI Director Christopher Wray has left – he resigned on Wednesday and will step down at the end of January. Donald Trump has already named the man he wants to replace: Kash Patel, a Trump loyalist who served in the Defense Department and as a senior adviser to the Director of National Intelligence.
But Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), a harsh Wray critic who, as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has overseen numerous investigations into the politicized FBI and Justice Department, said Wednesday that the resignation does not mean Wray is out of the House Office is a hook.
At first he celebrated Wray’s departure and reminded us of it all his misdeeds:
Jordan said Wray’s resignation was “great” news and criticized his handling of the FBI in comments to Fox News Digital on Wednesday.
“I mean, Chris Wray investigated moms and dads who showed up at school board meetings. He published a memorandum in which he said: ‘If you are a pro-life Catholic, you are an extremist.’ The FBI has retaliated against whistleblowers who gave us such information. We learned yesterday that they were spying on congressional staffers and their metadata searched President Trump’s homeJordan said.
Chris Wray’s FBI:
-Censored Americans
– Labeling pro-life Catholics as extremists
– Your private finances spied on
– Spied on members and staff of Congress
-Retaliation against whistleblowersAmericans deserve better.

Jordan says his job is not done:
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, signaled he was not done with his oversight of FBI Director Christopher Wray’s leadership of the bureau, even after the intelligence official did so announced that it was him resign….
Jordan has made no secret of his thoughts on Wray’s leadership and oversight several requests from the House Judiciary Committee in his leadership.
When asked by Fox News Digital if that oversight would continue, Jordan said, “Oh yes.”
“And we believe there will be reports that will, you know, shed even more light on what’s happening on the inspector general’s line,” Jordan said.
Many pundits and commentators are increasingly frustrated by the “strongly worded letters” from House committees and investigations that appear to have uncovered wrongdoing but have had no consequences for the wrongdoers. However, it is crucial to note that for the past four years, Democrats have held the White House and Senate and appointed their people to the top ranks of the Justice Department and the Bureau, leaving Republicans in the House largely handcuffed in their ability to enforce accountability .
That will change soon. Donald Trump will be in the White House with – if confirmed – Kash Patel of the FBI and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as head of the Justice Department. There will be recent sheriffs in town, and we will see if they take action against those who politicize the justice system and ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again.
40 days until President Trump is back in the White House.
