While the Democrats’ campaign was essentially about calling President-elect Donald Trump “Hitler” and it failed, Trump won with great success because he reached out to a lot of people and got more people on board with what The Democrats were not satisfied with the offer. He formed an alliance with people like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He won polls with the Teamsters by about 60 percent over Kamala Harris, even though the leadership did not endorse anyone and won more support from union members. The workers saw him as someone who cared more about their concerns.

As Matt Vespa reported On our sister site Townhall, Trump is still engaging in this kind of outreach, and he just did something pretty amazing that will probably drive Democrats crazy.
Trump met with leaders of the International Longshoremen’s Association, and the way their Executive Vice President Dennis Daggett described the meeting was historic.
🚨 Statement from Dennis Daggett, EVP of the International Longshoremen’s Association, on his meeting with President Trump:
“In the 25-plus years I have worked in Washington, I have never seen a Republican stand up for the working class. President-elect Trump proved me wrong yesterday.” pic.twitter.com/X8sw8xcSSZ

“I had the honor of meeting President-elect Donald Trump yesterday and I want to share an experience I never could have imagined in my wildest dreams,” Daggett wrote on Facebook Friday morning.
“In my entire career, I have never seen a politician – let alone the President of the United States – truly understand the importance of the work our members do every day,” he continued. “But yesterday, President-elect Trump not only demonstrated that understanding, but also showed the utmost respect for the hard work, sacrifices and commitment of our members.”
Daggett said Trump was “attentive” and “sincerely engaged with their concerns about the existential threat of automation.”
Daggett said it is “rare to find a leader who truly listens, and rarer still to find someone willing to act.”
Let’s put politics aside for a moment, because I know it can be hard for some to grasp. But I witnessed something extraordinary firsthand: This man really wants to fight for America and its working class. In over 25 years of working in Washington, I have never seen a Republican stand up for the working class. President-elect Trump proved me wrong yesterday.
He didn’t just tell us in private that he supported workers – he made it clear to the whole world.
Trump posted the letter on Truth Social, expressing concern about the impact of automation and criticizing foreign companies that harm American workers through automation.
“The amount of money saved is nowhere near as great as the hardship, pain and harm it causes to American workers, in this case our longshoremen. Foreign companies have made fortunes in the United States by giving them access to our markets.”
You have to imagine Democrats losing their minds when they see Daggett’s letter. The Democrats believe they deserve the votes of union members. But with Trump and his positive economic policies came a profound change that has apparently turned the Republican Party more into the party of workers and the Democrats into the party of elites. The Democrats lost the plot when they became more concerned about their own power and control than the people they were supposed to represent.
