Republicans certainly carried the weight on Thursday, exposing the troubled Biden administration with their reality checks during CNN panels.
I wrote earlier about how Scott Jennings just postponed Biden’s failed inauguration until next week, essentially leaving the left-wing people on the panel with a false “But Trump!” Answer.

But he and his fellow Republican, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), weren’t quite done with Biden and the panel — this time on the question of whether Biden would receive money from China.
“I’m still waiting for proof that Joe Biden enriched himself. I might take his brother and son with me,” said CNN anchor Abby Phillip. At that time, Lawler established the “direct line”.

“I’ll give you the direct line. A Chinese company transferred money to a shell company owned by Hunter and Jim Biden, which then transferred the money directly to Jim and Sarah Biden’s shell company, which then transferred the money to Jim and Sarah’s personal account, which then immediately sent a check Issued $40,000 to Joe Biden. So to say there was no evidence is not true.”
When Phillip presented the evidence, he backtracked and asked, “Why wasn’t he charged?”
“Trump was president for four years. He wanted to impeach Joe Biden. Why didn’t the charges come? they say, and there has been nothing.”
This piece of evidence was presented during Biden’s Justice Department, not President Trump’s first term. So not being charged isn’t the flex she might think. In fact, that’s part of the entire problem – why wasn’t this and much more pursued by Biden’s Justice Department?
Lawler brings Phillip to the point briefly, saying that Biden just pardoned his son Hunter for a period of 11 years, not just the crimes he was convicted of. So there was extensive coverage of all the actions of that time, including those that could affect Joe Biden himself.
“He wiped the slate clean,” Jennings said. “Jim [Biden] will be next by the way,” he added, getting a look from Phillip.
Then Phillip immediately withdrew from that segment.
No wonder. She probably didn’t want to have to deal with reality.

Did she then miss the pictures of Joe Biden introducing Hunter to Chinese President Xi and Chinese officials? What do you think it was about? But remember, Joe told us that he never discussed his son’s affairs with him.
What would the charges mean if Joe Biden simply pardoned them? And as Jennings notes, you can bet Jim Biden will get one too. I also think, as I said, there is a high possibility that he will pardon himself. The only thing that could stand in his way is his ego and what it might look like. But he will say he has to do it to prevent “malicious prosecution” by Trump.
What will Phillip say then? So much for the rule of law.
