We are now counting down the days until Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are out. The prospect of saying goodbye and never having to deal with them again is great.
But Harris still has a few duties to fulfill before she leaves the stage and hopefully never holds national office again.
She must certify the election in a few days, and it will be captivating to see what, if any, objections there might be. But on Friday their job was to swear in senators.
As we mentioned, the Senate session didn’t go well as Kamala stumbled over the Pledge of Allegiance right at the start. She didn’t seem to know the words.

But that wasn’t the only Kamala moment that drew negative attention. She also swore in Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). I don’t know what she had or what she took before she swore him in, but she clearly sensed the smell of her oats and she gave him a nasty, unprofessional, passive-aggressive swipe, given the context.
“Stand here. “It’s not in your nature to just stand where you’re told, but try,” she said jokingly. That’s pretty rude. Here they should be sworn in and congratulated. So much for decency, especially after the way Democrats have treated Bernie Sanders in the past, so not good.
But it’s also a metaphor for Democrats in general, although I don’t think Harris realized that. This is how they treat their members – do as we say, follow our instructions – or suffer the wrath of the Borg.
Sanders seemed a little shocked by this, and he should be. But when he was sworn in, he clapped back slightly: “I’m impressed you memorized that.”
Well, it wouldn’t be impressive to a normal person, but for the word salad queen she probably had to try a little harder. She admitted that she has memorized it because she has had to do it many times now.
And what kind of handshake was that? It looked like the start of a wrestling match – dare we say, embarrassing?
But Bernie puts up with Democrats trampling on him when he shouldn’t. He should fight back and expose all their nonsense more publicly.
Kamala’s comments could be a harsh call for the day’s “ugliest/most out of place congressional moment” – along with Virgin Islands delegate Stacey Plaskett’s tantrum over her not being allowed to participate in the speaker’s race. This is no surprise; It’s part of the system, so she was just obnoxious. She just wanted to make a scene. This is where the Democrats have reached his point and are throwing tantrums when they don’t get what they want.

Kamala Harris is simply not a very elegant person, and this is just another reminder of how much of a bullet we dodged when the American people wisely voted for Donald Trump.
Now we have a real chance, rather than a further descent into more leftism, if Republicans can come together and do what’s right for the American people.
