For some Americans, the COVID pandemic has interrupted their lives but caused no lasting damage. The draconian measures taken by so many of our “leaders” may have been an inconvenience, but they haven’t changed anything. Maybe you’ve watched a little more Netflix or circumscribed your social activities for a while.
But for others – like me – it is a deeply personal matter and the effects of their actions continue to resonate today.
My son struggled greatly in his first year of college, and our extended family was filled with pride and planned to attend his graduation. But the graduation never happened—we were given a Zoom ceremony.
I am blessed with twin daughters who were just starting high school when it all fell apart. They spent two years in our living room next to my oldest daughter, who had been inexplicably sent home from college, and all three of them, but especially the impressionable twins, had the meaning and joy of life slowly sucked out of their souls.
I am elated to report that we fought – and fought demanding– to bring them back, and now they are wonderful, dynamic teenage people. But the road was long and hard.
I will not forget what they did to us. Too many have simply dismissed it with “Oh, that’s just what happened.” But we must never forget what they did to us. always We must not lose sight of what happened and we must ensure that something like this never happens again.

But now the truth has come out: They made it all up. Many of their decisions were not based on “science.” They literally just threw out whatever sounded good to them. They ruined lives, they trampled on our freedoms, they sucked the soul out of America – all because they could.

The holy doctor, who often presents himself as a kind of messiah, was simply full of it:
In a conversation with the legal counsel of the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic earlier this year, Fauci told Republicans that the 6-foot distancing rule “kind of just popped up” and he couldn’t remember how it came about.
“You know, I don’t remember. It just popped up,” he said, according to committee minutes, when asked how the rule came about.
He added that he was not aware of any studies supporting social distancing and acknowledged that such studies would be “very difficult” to conduct.
Not only could Fauci not recall any evidence to support social distancing, he also told the committee’s counsel that he could not recall reading anything to support the claim that mask-wearing in children could prevent COVID.
And despite his repeated denials and Big Tech’s censorship campaign against anyone who dared to suggest that the Wuhan virus might have originated in the, ahem, Wuhan Institute of Virology, the dishonest doctor admitted that we might have been right. the whole time:
In addition, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) told the lawyer that he believes in the lab leak theory – the idea that COVID began at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV)– is a real “possibility”.
“I think people have inferred a conspiracy from this,” he said, adding: “It could be a lab leak.”
“So I think it’s not necessarily a conspiracy theory in and of itself, but some people are deriving things from it that are kind of crazy.”
His admission that COVID may have originated at the WIV comes four years after he supported the publication of a paper titled “Proximal Origin” that debunked the lab leak theory.
What they did – Whitmer, Fauci, Newsom, Cuomo, Biden and all their comrades – may be a distant memory for many. But I will never forget it, and it was a wake-up call for me that tyranny can happen here too – even in America. If you don’t stand up to this autocracy, you are letting it happen.
