The wildfires that have ravaged parts of Los Angeles aren’t the only things causing excitement in California in recent weeks.

That’s also true of the debate over city, county and state leadership in the Golden State, with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and the vigilant Los Angeles Fire Department all turning up the heat in very different ways Sages sense their “priorities” as the fires continue to rage.

There have also been accusations of “climate change” from the Democrats/media, with so-called “leaders” like Newsom and others blaming him and Republicans unconvinced of the left’s climate change agenda blaming the fires that happened in one of the on strongest self-regulated states in the country.

But for all the Democrats’ bluster about climate change related to the wildfires, the message isn’t getting through, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten revealed Survey Information Monday that will make the left gloomy:

I don’t think Americans make that connection. And as we can see here and now, take a look at the monthly change in Google searches. Look at wildfire searches, which are up 2,400 percent. My goodness, goodness. This is the largest number of people ever to search for wildfires. Always. I’ve been going back since Google [trends began back in 2004].

But look at climate change. Look at the change. It is not associated with forest fires. It’s actually downstairs. It’s down 9 percent. And I also looked in California. The number of searches on the topic of “climate change” has not increased.

So the bottom line is that Americans are definitely interested in learning about these wildfires. They are interested in following the news about the wildfires. But they don’t make that connection with climate change. That’s the vital thing here, Mr. Berman.

“So despite all these extreme weather events, Americans are really no more worried about climate change than they were almost 35 years ago,” Enten continued. “I mean, there’s just no real trend line here.”

As for why, Enten said most Americans feel there’s “not much” they can do about it.

Regard:

These numbers are quite astonishing when you consider how many millions of dollars Democrats and their affiliated climate alarmist groups have poured into their campaigns on so-called man-made global warming over the past few decades.

And with President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the Oval Office, their communication problems will only get worse as he works to undo the damage done by Joe Biden during his four years in office.

It should be fun to watch.
