For those in the Biden administration who will soon be unemployed, it’s time to talk to people and act like they’ve done a great job over the last four years. This is true even for the most lovable misfits of the most deranged and corrupt government in the up-to-date history of the United States.
People like (former mayor) Pete Buttigieg, who Joe Biden appointed as transportation chief and who did a terrible job as the top chairman of that agency. Luckily, if you don’t believe me, I have a reminder of one of his massive mistakes at hand A left-wing source This reminds us of a town called East Palestine, Ohio, which Pete ignored for some strange reason after a disaster…
Pete Buttigieg admits he was wrong Response to train derailment in Ohio.
But the criticism is justifiedThe critics are usually not that, he says.
“It’s really rewarding to see some of these people – the former president, these Fox hosts – who are literally lifelong members of the East Coast elite, whose top economic priority has always been, and would do, cutting taxes for the opulent. “If their lives depended on it, they wouldn’t know their way around a TJ Maxx and would present themselves as if they really cared about the forgotten middle of the country,” the transportation minister said. “Do you think Tucker Carlson knows the difference between a TJ Maxx and a Kohl’s?”
So Pete thinks that anyone who criticizes his lack of action during a train derailment should not be believed if they don’t know the difference between shopping at Kohl’s or a TJ Maxx? How does Pete know if Tucker or anyone who thinks Pete did a terrible job knows the difference between these deals? This is an original line of thought that makes no sense in the real world, but in the low-cost, superficial talking points of Biden, Inc. it is seen as profound.
No wonder this country has regressed in the last four years under Hunter’s father.
However, Pete’s next appearance could see him seeking elected office in his adopted home state of Michigan.
Those of you who don’t think he would ever have a chance of being elected in the Great Lake State may have forgotten that Governor Gretchen Whitmer and former Governor (now U.S. Secretary of Energy) Jennifer Granholm were both elected in that state and then re-elected did terrible jobs in their first terms.
So Pete has a hell of a chance here if he wants to run for governor, which I read about correctly HERE and wasn’t shocked at all. The story begins with a pep talk from Pete from the University of Michigan about staying engaged and cheerful in the next four years after Trump comes to power.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, a Democratic leader, urged University of Michigan students on Monday not to turn away from news and politics a week before Republican Donald Trump takes office as the country’s next president.
During a 90-minute question-and-answer session in a lecture hall at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, Buttigieg discussed running the Transportation Department, his desire to bring high-speed rail to Midwestern cities, life advice and what he was referring to jokingly referred to as the “world according to Pete.”
According to Pete, the world is also about him relaxing after his current gig ends on January 20th at 12pm, as mentioned here…
In an interview with The Detroit News after his appearance Monday, Buttigieg said he plans to spend more time at home in Traverse City and with his two children in the coming weeks, but vowed to stick around.
“I don’t know the shape yet,” Buttigieg said.
However, he said he wants to work on the future of infrastructure, the recovery of the industrial Midwest, urban development and structural issues surrounding democracy.
However, he is currently in discussions with prominent Democrats in the state of Michigan who have probably played their part in driving the state into ruin.
Buttigieg has met privately with several prominent Michigan Democrats in recent months. Three Michigan Democrats, who did not want to be identified, previously said they had each spoken directly to Buttigieg, who wanted to find out about the state of politics.
Buttigieg confirmed the meetings Monday, saying he visited a few Michigan Democrats at their homes that closely resembled the place where he grew up in South Bend.
Now, I understand that some people might think that a recent transplant now living in the Traverse City neighborhood of Michigan (which is very elite, by the way, Pete) might not have a chance of running for the Democratic nomination for governor and /or General’s win.
If you think that, you are wrong.
Michigan is still a blue state, even though Donald Trump won it two out of three times.
The state elects Democrats who talk about feelings instead of facts, and the public seems to value that more than actual results. Gretchen Whitmer, who ran for re-election and won two years ago after her complete debacle in handling COVID in the state, secured the re-election victory by nine points.
We have not elected a Republican senator from the state to send to Washington, DC, since 1994.
The last conservative governor we elected was John Engler in 1990.
A unique candidate like Donald Trump is the only one who could emerge now and win the statewide gubernatorial election. In case you haven’t noticed, Donald Trump is a person who has not been duplicated, and definitely no one in the state of Michigan even comes close.
Plus, much will depend on who Michigan Republicans choose to replace Pete Hoekstra as leader at their statewide convention next month, and how united they are heading into 2025 and 2026.
So could a Pete Buttigieg or any Democrat win the governor’s seat and make it three in a row next year?
Damn right they could.
Hopefully the perfect storm for Trump’s victory here last year can last until November 2026 and Michigan can once again elect Republicans statewide.
