Reps. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) got into an incredibly heated exchange during a House Oversight Committee meeting on Tuesday.
The war of words began during a discussion about civil rights and so-called transgender rights. It ended with a concrete proposal to take the matter outside and settle it like women. (Which would be complex considering that anyone with the letter “D” next to their name is 1. not a biologist and 2. therefore incapable of defining what an actual woman is.)
Anyway, Crockett got the fireworks started when she mocked Mace’s push to ban biological men from women’s restrooms and/or sports.
“I can see that someone’s (Mace’s) campaign coffers are really struggling right now,” Crockett chided. “So she’s going to keep saying trans, trans, trans to make people feel threatened.”
With a flick of her hair, the Texas Democrat expressed patronizing sentiment toward her colleague and said, “And child, listen.”
This caused Mace to unceremoniously blow up a seal.

“I am not a child! Don’t call me a child!” “I’m not a child, I’m 47 years old.”
Crockett tried in vain to talk about Mace.
“You won’t do that. “I’m not a child,” the Republican congresswoman replied. “If you want to take it outside, we can do that.”
Rep. Maxwell Alejandro Frost (D-FL) attempted to have Mace’s comments struck from the record, but House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) claimed it was simply an offer to keep the discussion at one “Cup of coffee or…” perhaps a beer” in front of the congress halls.

After the viral exchange, Mace and Crockett continued the war of words
Crockett allegedly that her Republican colleague “threatened to physically fight me” during Mace countered“If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”
Adding fuel to the fire was a statement from Crockett at the hearing in which she claimed fears of biological men in women’s locker rooms were a “fantasy” and an example of someone wanting to “be dramatic.”
Mace, who was a victim of sexual assault teenagerdeclined the comments.
.@RepJasmine says fear of rape is “fantasy” and “dramatic.”
I can’t even begin to explain how insulting it is to be told that as a rape survivor, my fear of rape is shrouded in “fantasy.”

This isn’t the first time things have gotten a little contentious between Mace and an activist who’s intellectually in over their heads. Just last month, Capitol Police arrested a transgender advocate after he physically assaulted her.
Mace suffered minor injuries and required a brace for her wrist and ice for her arm, but was quickly able to demonstrate her resilience. Information“Your violence and threats against my life will only make me give in again.” FAFO.”
James McIntyre, 33, of Illinois, was charged with assault on a government official.

Meanwhile, Crockett made a spectacle of it in Congress, frequently and embarrassingly making radical statements that would make Joy Reid blush.
Most recently, she tried to demean Donald Trump’s up-to-date border czar, Tom Homan, by suggesting that he has no idea what he’s doing when it comes to resolving the border crisis.
This prompted Homan to push her back to reality: “I don’t know who this lady is. Apparently she’s not really smart.”
Is it that obvious?

Homan responds that he has “forgotten more about this problem than she will ever know.”

Earlier this month, at a House Oversight Committee hearing on problems with the U.S. Census, Crockett launched into a vile tirade about minorities being used to create seats for white Republicans.
Previously, Crockett went viral with this racist lie about the “white man.”
At this point, it’s obvious that Crockett is going to do exactly what you’d expect a “Squad” wannabe to do – without anything remotely bright to back up her words.
Don’t take the bait, Nancy. It’s not worth it.
