According to novel White House officials, President-elect Donald Trump will sign 10 executive orders (EOs) on Monday that will, among other things, declare a national emergency at the southern border, send the military there to deter foreign invasions and abolish birthright citizenship.

Trump and his national security team have teased that the novel president will sign a series of immigration and border agreements on Inauguration Day to protect Americans from the surge of illegal immigrants into the country and reverse the novel president’s disastrous policies the Biden administration.

Some of the finer details still need to be worked out, but Trump officials confirmed that EOs would be signed that:

  • Declare a national emergency at the southern border;
  • Sending U.S. military personnel to the border to protect the United States from all forms of foreign invasion;
  • End the Biden administration’s “catch and release” policy and begin building the border wall.
  • calling drug cartels global terrorists; And,
  • Suspend asylum programs and end birthright citizenship

All these orders apply only to the southern border, with future measures to be taken to address the problems in the north.

As always, Fox News’ Bill Melugin has more details. One point: Melugin says there will be 11 border EOs today, but Trump officials confirmed Monday morning that there will be 10.

EXCLUSIVE: According to a Trump administration official, President Trump will sign 11 border-related executive orders today, including stationing U.S. troops at the border as part of NORTHCOM, immediately ending Biden’s mass parole programs (CBP One mobile app and CHNV- migrant flights) and much more.

We have received exclusive details on three of the executive orders.

Order #1: Trump will direct DHS and DOD to complete construction of the border wall and deploy personnel to assume operational control of the border. He will order the immediate termination of Biden’s controversial mass humanitarian release policies and programs, including the CBP One cell phone app and the CHNV migrant flight program, and he will order the termination of catch and release policies. Trump will also direct DHS and the AG to restart the Remain in Mexico program.

Order #2: Trump will order the deployment of U.S. troops to the border under U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and direct the U.S. military to prioritize U.S. borders and territorial integrity in the strategic planning of its operations. Trump will direct his SecDef to develop a unified command plan and the border security mission will be taken over by NORTHCOM.

A Trump administration official tells me: “This executive order sends a clear message that the United States intends to exercise sovereignty over its lands and borders, and that the armed forces must play a role in protecting our borders.”

Order #3: Trump will designate international cartels and criminal organizations like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). The order will declare these groups a national security threat and invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to shut down their operations.

With these designations, the federal government has more tools to pursue them. An FTO designation allows for targeted action against members, including sanctions and fines. It is illegal to provide support or resources to an FTO, and most financial institutions report these funds to the Treasury Department.

These are just three of 11 border-related executive orders President Trump will sign today. I’m told he will announce some of them during his inaugural address and others later in the day, including at the White House.

New White House officials are calling it the “Make America Safe Again” agenda and clearly intend to hit the ground running. In addition to these EOs, unless blocked by Senate Democrats, the Laken Riley Act should make its way to Trump’s desk soon for his signature, giving federal law enforcement even more power to arrest illegals committing crimes in American communities.
