It’s not that he hasn’t already had an exceptionally eventful day, but after services, tea, a swearing-in, an inaugural address, another speech to his supporters, a troop briefing, lunch, another speech, and a trip to Capital One Arena to address 20,000 supporters and sign several executive orders, President Donald Trump headed to the Oval Office to sign even more executive orders. (Afterwards he is expected to attend the inaugural balls.)
And not only did he sign a slew of executive orders; It’s because he did this while simultaneously making the rounds with reporters and discussing a variety of topics. It was something to behold.
Earlier in the evening, he pardoned around 1,500 J6 defendants and withdrew the U.S. from the Paris climate agreement, a move that enraged former Vice President Al Gore.
Trump withdraws USA from Paris climate agreement, Al Gore dissatisfied
Promise kept: With the stroke of a pen, President Trump issues mass pardons for J6 defendants
Now he has withdrawn the US from the World Health Organization.

The (recent and improved) White House did a good job throughout the day updating the website and including the Executive Orders as they were issued/signed. Here are the highlights from that command on leaving the WHO:
Section 1. Purpose. The United States noted its withdrawal from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020 due to the organization’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic resulting from Wuhan, China and other global health crises, as well as its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms Inability to demonstrate independence from the undue political influence of WHO member states. In addition, the WHO continues to demand unjustifiably high payments from the United States that are disproportionate to the estimated payments of other countries. China, with a population of 1.4 billion, has 300 percent of the population of the United States, but contributes nearly 90 percent less to the WHO.
Sec. 2. Actions. (A) The USA intends to withdraw from the WHO. The President’s letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, signed on January 20, 2021, withdrawing the United States withdrawal notice of July 6, 2020, is revoked.
…
(c) The Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs shall establish within the National Security Council apparatus such directorates and coordination mechanisms as he or she deems necessary and appropriate to protect public health and strengthen biosecurity.
(d) The Secretary of State and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget shall, as expeditiously as possible, take appropriate measures to:
(i) suspend future transfers of U.S. Government funds, support, or resources to WHO;
(ii) remove and reassign U.S. Government personnel or contractors working with WHO in any capacity; And
(iii) Identify credible and limpid U.S. and international partners to undertake necessary activities previously conducted by WHO.
…
Sec. 3. Notification. The Secretary of State shall immediately inform the Secretary-General of the United Nations, any other relevant depository and the WHO leadership of the withdrawal.
As the order states, this is not the first time Trump has called for the U.S. to withdraw from the WHO. He did this back in July 2020.
Trump is officially leaving the WHO while other Republicans prove themselves to be the reckless weasels that they are
However, former President Joe Biden reversed this move be Inauguration Day in 2021. Now the ball is back in Trump’s court, and he has taken it and gone home – at least as far as the WHO is concerned.
Given the plethora of orders signed on the first day of the Trump administration, this one may fly a little under the radar, but it is a statement made on the front lines of globalism.
