As I watched President Donald Trump’s incredible energy over the last three days and the number of goals he promised to solve, one thought crossed my mind several times: This must all feel like death by 1,000 cuts for the Democratic Party The party and the left feel as a whole.
At least those rational enough to see it.
As some on our site have said, Trump accomplished more in the first 48 hours of his second term than former President Joe Biden did in the four years of his miserably failed presidency.

Now an unlikely admirer of Trump’s swift start, former Biden pollster and top Democratic Party strategist Celinda Lake, has said the tranquil part out deafening. (I don’t like the tired, overused expression, but in this case it fits.)
During an appearance on the show “2WAY Tonight“Lake, one of the best-known and most respected Democratic pollsters in the country, was effusive about Trump’s launch.
He demonstrated the power of sole leadership, he demonstrated the ability to effect change, he was decisive and seemed to have everything under control. He seemed confident and I think he did a really good job. His numbers are improving, even [some] People don’t agree with his politics, they think he’s doing a good job.
Lake stands in stark contrast to Democrats like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and far-left Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren — along with members of the lapdog left-wing media, of course — who have compared Trump to “Hitler” and called him a “fascist.” ,” a “white supremacist,” etc., and have derided Trump supporters as “Nazis” and “trash.”
Lake too admonished the Democrats to stop vilifying Trump — at least for now — which is wise advice because the worse the left said about Trump during the primaries, the more it benefited him and helped him to a decisive victory in November.
I have my own metaphor from Montana, where I am an avid angler and fisherman, and when you’re trying to catch a huge fish, we have a saying: “Keep the line taut and let it out.” This is his moment. Give him his moment and hopefully he’ll hold that line wide and we can pull him in.
Lest you feel inclined to blow yourself up over her last comment, remember: she is one democrat Strategist. As is the case with Republican strategists and politicians, it’s her job to advise Democrats how they can best achieve their goals.
Still, it’s remarkable that a top Democrat would objectively acknowledge Trump’s impressive early victories, especially given the bitterness that still lingers in the minds of some on the left – I expect it always will. I would like to believe that conservative pundits would have done the same if Kamala Harris had won the election.
I’m kidding.
The radical left from San Francisco and their equally left-wing crackpot buddy, prospective Vice President Minnesota Tim Walz, would have immediately begun further destroying America as we knew it, before the Biden-Harris administration. Thank God that won’t happen anymore, as President Donald J. Trump not only likes to say – he’s now proving it hour by hour.
