“On the way”: GOP Hot meets JD Vance Casting Tie-Breaking Hegseth Confirmation Votion was funny

Despite a controversial hearing for confirmation, in which the Democrats themselves and the dramatic dramatic drama of the 11th hour were, Pete Hegseth was confirmed in a 51:50 vote on Friday evening by President Donald Trump for Defense Minister, Senate of the United States.

As Redstate described before, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) triggered the concern delayed Friday after reporting that he could attract Hegseth’s support.

In the end, however, Tillis voted in favor of Hegseth’s confirmation and submitted an explanation on social media in which he said In some cases, “Pete has a unique perspective as the veteran of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and is undoubtedly passionate about modernizing our military and supporting the brave patriots like himself that serve our nation”.

The three Republicans, who voted “No”, were Sensan Susan Collins (R-Me), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and the former chairman of the Sen. minority, Mitch McConnell (R-Ky).

After Tillis’ vote made an even 50-50 split, it was Vice President JD Vance to give up the binding votes for Hegseth. As we reported, Vance – the senator was before he became Trump’s VP – wiped On the Twitter/X machine just a few minutes before his vote on how “I thought I was ready in the Senate” and the LOL Emoticon included in his tweet.

Others on the popular social media platform also burdened some funny answers to the news that Vance would be the decisive vote, some of which were of course WWE theme:

In any case, props to Vice President Vance and congratulations on the newly shaped defense sec. Pete Hegseth because he was powerful and victorious. There will be a lot of work in the future, but with leaders such as Trump, Vance and Hegseth we have the best chance of ever making America great – and his fighting forces respected worldwide.
