As both Republicans and (rational) Democrats cheer President Donald Trump for carrying out illegal alien criminals, one conspicuous guy isn’t content with the results so far: Donald Trump.
Trump was disappointed with the results its mass protection campaign, according to four people with knowledge of the briefings, The Washington Post reported on Sunday. As a result, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have been ordered by administration officials to increase the number of illegals they arrest and deport by a few hundred per day to at least 1,200 to 1,500.

The quotas were outlined in a call Saturday with senior ICE officials, who were told that the agency’s field offices should make 75 arrests per day and managers will be held accountable for missing those targets. The four people spoke on condition of anonymity to reveal internal briefings.

White House border chief Tom Homan has said for weeks that ICE would not conduct a mass roundup and that its officers would prioritize immigrants with criminal records and who are gang members. But the quotas issued this weekend would put ice officers under more pressure to capture a wider range of potential deportees to avoid reprimands.
So be it: being in this country illegal is reason enough in my book.
Trump officials are trying to charge Deportation numbers by ordering more federal police to give up.
The deportation plan has set hair on fire throughout the Democratic Party and among its left-wing water carriers in media. Case in point: A Washington Post reporter received 41 million x (formerly Twitter) views a woman crying as she was told she couldn’t cross into the United States.
Homan bluntly told ABC News in a Sunday interview: “If you’re in the country illegally, you’ve got a problem” (emphasis mine):
There are consequences [for] enter the country illegally. If we don’t show that there are consequences, you’ll never fix the boundary problem.
Bingo and not unlike warning a child to stop doing what they are doing. Words without verifiable actions are worse than no words at all. Trump and Homan know this – and they are just beginning to send that tough message through even tougher actions.

Homan also told ABC that “if this shutter is opened, there will be more arrests across the country.” The no-nonsense border czar added that there will be “collateral arrests,” particularly in so-called “sanctuary cities” that are resistant to illegal immigrants already on trial for other crimes, to facilitate ICE officers.
Homan told Breitbart News in November:
We must control the narrative so that we retain the trust of the American people. Sometimes you have to tardy it down, but sometimes I think the shock of it will make people go back to their home countries.
This will not be a neighborhood sweep. This is a targeted enforcement operation. We know exactly who we’re going to arrest before we leave office. … Every arrest we make has been approved by a supervisor. We know exactly who we are looking for.
We have a pretty good idea where we’ll find her. They had to get permission for it. So it will be good, well planned and humane.
Love the plan, but it’s clear that Donald Trump has already had enough of the “slow roll” and that can only lead to more aggressive action through ice – sooner rather than later.
