JD Vance gave his first interview since he became Vice President of the United States on Sunday. In a somewhat surprising step, he decided to put together with Margaret Brennan from CBS News. They may remember them as one of the moderators who tried to equip the vice presidential debate by botching up a “fact check” and then cutting his microphone while answering.
The wisdom to give up this Legacy Press outlets an oxygen was never doubt that the Vice President would run circles in Brennan. As Redstate reported, he has calmly dismantled her discussion points throughout the interview, with some particularly satisfactory stock exchanges.

“I don’t really take care of it” a legendary interview. Common sense against journalistic arrogance.
A public spectacle that shows the decline of media element in the face of common sense.

Brennan: These people are checked. These people are checked.
Vance: Just like the guy who planned a terrorist attack in Oklahoma a few months ago? He was supposedly checked properly and many people in the media and the democratic party said that he had been properly checked. Obviously he wasn’t. I don’t want my children to share a neighborhood with people who are not checked properly, and because I don’t want it for my children, I will not force any other children of the American citizens to do so.
Brennan: No, and that was a very special case. It was not clear whether he was radicalized when he arrived here or lived here, but …
Vance: I don’t care, Margaret. I don’t want this person in my country and I think most Americans agree.
For a summary of how bad things went for Brennan, you will find a practical guide to the various faces, which she brought to school repeatedly as Vance.

However, there was an exchange that I found particularly informative. When the topic of disaster aid and the lend a hand of Americans who lost everything due to storms and fires, Brennan had a real moment.
Look at the elitist disgust on Brennan’s face because she claims that states with low incomes are simply not shrewd enough to cope with a disaster recovery without overpaid, useless German bureaucrats that dictate everything.

Brennan: You know that Fema has special specialist knowledge that some of these states simply do not have in their arsenal …
Vance: Oh, Margaret, I wish you …
Brennan: And how are these states that are states with lower incomes, the Mississippis, the Kentuckys, the Alabamas are able to do this for themselves without federal lend a hand?
Vance: Well, the president, to be clear, does not say that we will leave someone behind. He says that the way we like these resources, some of which come from the federal level and some of which come from the state level, clear the bureaucrats out of the way and get lend a hand for the lend a hand people who need it the most .
Look at the disgust on your face when she calls Red State “with a low income” that can impossible manage without being paid to them without overpaid, useless German bureaucrats. Note that, however, you have not bothered to mention California what has showed a lack of ability to react effectively to natural disasters. Instead, she only mocks on these uneducated rods in “Mississippis, Kentuckys and Alabamas”.
This is not an accident. People like Brennan live in a bladder in which they really believe that credentialism and dolly sums determine competence in a table. If, for example, you describe the above states as “low income” and conclude that you are incapable of being unable to exist that the living costs exist. Income in the southern countries is indeed lower standard Life is not necessarily worse than paid blue conditions.
But Brennan sees the average income and only assumes that everyone in Alabama is an idiot because this is the way of thinking of Beltway residents as it is. You cannot explore that other people are not just as shrewd as you are, but in many cases it is clever. There is a reason why the country’s top countries in relation to economic growth and employment are almost exclusively led by Republicans, many of which Brennan would claim are “low-income”.
The reality is that the German bureaucracies have proven to be the most incompetent units in the country. If you had “specialized know -how” that simply cannot be replicated at the state level, then the North Caroliner would not live in tents at the moment. What the Trump administration wants to do, namely the provision of lend a hand for people in need is exactly what has to happen. If it is guided by federal authorities and their selected NGOs, the inefficiencies are exposed and the schedules are stretched to absurd lengths.
In other words, Brennan’s elitism is not deserved. It is the stripes of someone who looks down on normal Americans and convinced that they need them and people like them to lead them. Well, they don’t do that and that has been shown again and again.
