Washington (AP) – President Donald Trump orders the US schools, teaching what he sees as a “critical racial theory” and other material materials that deal with breed and sexuality to lose their federal money.

In a separate plan, aggressive measures to combat anti -Semitism on College Campus was announced and promised to pursue offenders and to revoke visas for international students as “sympathizers of Hamas”.

Both plans were outlined into executive orders that Trump signed on Wednesday. The measures try to meet some of the central campaigns of the Republican President in terms of education, although it is unclear how much power he has to make the suggestions.

His arrangement to K-12 schools explains that federal money cannot be used for the “indoctrination” of children, including “radical gender ideology and critical racial theory”. It is said that civil rights laws based on gender and breed are used to enforce the order and describe critical racial theory as “naturally racist politics”.

Examples that were cited in the order include a guideline at public schools of Harrisonburg City in Virginia, in which the teachers have to exploit the preferred names and pronouns of the students. Another policy in the Madison Metropolitan School District in Wisconsin states that the schools should “disturb” the gender -specific binary file by teaching the students to exploit different gender identities according to the order.

The office for civil rights of the Ministry of Education examines allegations of violations of civil rights and can impose sanctions up to a total loss of the federal government, although this punishment has almost never been used and has to be approved by a judge.

The command clouds the teachers unfairly and complicates them to do their work, said Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers.

“Today is a sad day because the Trump government does exactly what accuses them of others: to create division and fear in classrooms throughout America,” she said.

Trump also instructs the Minister of Education to develop a strategy within 90 days to “end indoctrination in K-12 education”. Trump has appointed the billion -dollar professional wrestling Mogul Linda McMahon as his educational manager, but her hearing to confirm the Senate is not planned.

During his campaign, Trump said that he would sign an order “on the first day” to reduce the federal money for schools, advance critical racial theory or other “inappropriate” content. The federal government is making billions of dollars in schools every year, although most of its money comes from state and local sources.

The measure taps into a wave of conservative anger that has adjusted to classrooms that some consider too liberal. A growing number of republican states has passed laws or rules that were able to teach critical racial theory or “split concepts” at public schools and universities.

The opponents say that the rules impose vague restrictions on the teachers and create a terrifying effect on discussions about history and other topics.

The term “critical racial theory” is used by conservatives as a hook for subjects that you do not want to be taught in the classroom. In reality, it refers to a elaborate academic and legal framework that focuses on the idea that racism is embedded in the nation’s systems.

Trey Walk, a researcher and lawyer of Human Rights Watch, said the students had the right to learn how discrimination in law and society can be anchored. “When the USA deny young people this knowledge, it has little hope of eradding racism,” he said.

Trump’s plan to combat anti -Semitism would “marshal all federal resources” and require immediate measures by the Ministry of Justice in order to examine offenders at the US locations and to punish them vibrations for international students who visited propalestinian protests.

Trump’s action promises to protect “law and order, protect vandalism and intimidation of pro-Hamas and to examine and punish anti-Jewish racism at left, anti-American universities and universities”.

It attracted rapid counter -reactions of civil rights groups, who said that the protests of the campus were largely peaceful and were protected by constitutional freedom of speech.

Edward Ahmed Mitchell, National Deputy Director of the Council for American Islamic relationships, said the campaign was discriminatory and incorrectly characterizes the demonstrators as a “pro jihadist” or “pro-Hamas”.

“These college students were Jewish, Muslim, Blacks, Palestinian and various other breeds that simply protested what they saw as a genocide in Gaza,” said Mitchell. “They do not differ from the students who protested Vietnam or segregation or apartheid in South Africa.”

The tensions about the Israel Hamas War led to emotional demonstrations on the US campus, including a wave pro-Palestinian tent camp, which led to around 3,200 arrests.

After the Hamas’ attack on Israel, the Biden administration opened more than 100 studies on alleged anti -Semitism and Islamophobia at schools and universities. A flood of schools achieved business to regulate the cases before Trump took office and fears that he would issue more severe sanctions.

The White House also put up an order from Trump’s first term on Wednesday, in which the Commission of 1776 was founded in US schools to promote “patriotic education”.

Biden revoked the order and guidelines of the Commission for the teaching history. The leader played America’s role in slavery and argued that the civil rights movement were triggered by the “high ideals” that were represented by the founding fathers. It was widespread by historians who said it was antiquated and ignored decades of research.
