Democrats still can’t find out how to deal with President Donald Trump.
The recent attitude of Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) from House Minority Leader is really witty. He tries to argue that the American people are at the Democrats because he claimed that there were demonstrators in Republican town halls.
But he didn’t know how unwanted his video was.

Jeffries claimed that the Democrats had to send paid demonstrators to events because “the American people are with us across the country”.
Now there are of course several problems with this attitude.
First, Moveon already announced that they were Organize protests Against the “Trump Musk agenda” during the congress break between February 17th and 23rd. So yes, they had a left -wing organization that organized protests, rep. Jeffries. These are not the normal people who get up. If people were actually “ascending”, they do not need an organization to organize something.
But how witty is he that the American people was “with them” – while nobody is with him? If there was more exclamation marks on how they were not with him, it was. When our sister position Townhall pointed outIt was not just Republicans who mocked this gloomy effort.

I don’t say that he had to film this in front of a massive amount, but who in his comms or in the previous team was it a good idea to stage this in front of a building full of deeply unpopular politicians instead of going on his desk with a tight, controlled shot?
The journalist Yashar Ali points out how it actually reinforces that they do not have the support.
Then Jeffries was even asked when he tried a similar attitude with Jake Tapper from CNN, and Tapper had to remind him that Congress Democrats had a disapproval of 21 percent in a recently in Quinnipiac survey and a displacement of 68 percent.

In addition, the survey also showed a survey that is very popular in Harvard Caps/Harris survey from Trump from Trump from Border Policy to Doge.

Trump’s approval is far higher than the Democrats in Congress with 52 percent in this Harvard survey.

New survey: Trump agenda very popular with Americans
So no, Rep. Jeffries, the American people are decidedly not with them and all the bad guidelines that represent them. They voted for changes and therefore they rejected them in the house, in the Senate and in the White House.
