An invoice that would allow motorcyclists to get up while driving their vehicle almost drives to the governor’s desk.
“If you get up on the foot pencils, you only have as much more control if a bump appears. Your legs behave like shock absorbers,” said Senator Mark Maynard, R-Wayne, who voted for the support of the measure. “This is only hideous that someone who does this is created.”
The Senate signed the measure House bill 2752Monday evening with a vote From 27-6. The draft law went out of the House of Delegates on March 19 and waned a viral video Del showed that. Shawn Fluharty, D-Ohio, screamed, “Vrooom! Vrooom! West Virginia” before criticizing the draft law supported by Republicans. It was unnecessary and did nothing to aid the residents of the state.

The chairman of the Senate reduction, Mike Woelel, also questioned why legislators spend time for legislation. He called it the “Organization Act of 2025”.
“I met a lot of gimmicks in this session,” said Woelel, D-Cabell. “But why do we take the time of the Senate with an invoice so that people can legally stand on their motorcycles while the motorcycle goes forward?”
“We will enact laws of all the topics we have in our state so that people can be Evel Knievel? I would like to have a voice to send a message in the hallway, ”he continued.
Sen. Patricia Rucker, R-Jefferson, said she was informed that the draft law that comes from the house was needed.
“At the moment you get up – you still have your feet at the foot pencil – it is a crime. They needed this legislation so that they can get up,” she said.
Motorcyclists are already instructed to end in certain situations as part of their necessary instructions in order to receive a motorcycle license, said Bill Sponsor DEL. Kathie Hess Crouse, R-Putnam. The invoice also includes mopeds and motor -driven cycles.
The house must agree to the voice of the Senate before the legislation goes to the GOV. Patrick Morrisey’s desk for consideration.
