Crazy Whoopi calls for class action lawsuit against the Supreme Court, other ladies from “The View” disagree

Who would have thought? What are the chances that one of the female geniuses of ABC’s “The View” would go so far out of control that even the other silly geniuses disagree? Well, that’s exactly what happened on Tuesday’s episode of the ridiculous show – this time, the outlier was nearsighted host Whoopi Goldberg – and it was a sight to behold.

The ladies were concerned about recently released audio recordings secretly made by a Democratic activist posing as a “documentary filmmaker” to expose Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and his wife. In other words, pure nonsense.

The recording only reinforced Justice Alito’s belief. Still, Whoopi wondered aloud with every brain cell she could muster:

If these recordings are genuine, will Alito be permanently barred from serving as a Supreme Court justice?

Why can’t we sue them in a class action lawsuit? [members of the Supreme Court] … I don’t know why you can’t file a class action lawsuit saying, “Look, you’re not doing the job you’re supposed to be doing anymore.” I don’t understand that.

Pure idiocy. Who would have thought? Co-host Sarah Haines responded in disbelief:

I don’t like the way that tape was made. I don’t think that woman was making a statement…she was lying and then she had that “gotcha” moment. And I thought the headlines were worse than what I heard on the ground because I listened to more of the tapes.

She even has compliment Alito.

Alito goes on to say that it sounds like he is being polite to this woman because she seems a little crazy. She directs every question and he sits there.

Finally, he says the court has a restricted role and Judge Roberts handled it like a professional and here it is… judges are trained to do this. They may be very religious people and not rule in the same way.

Wow, yes.

Alleged Republican Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed with Haines.

Well, I agreed, and I believe that Chief Justice Roberts responded as I would have expected any Supreme Court justice to respond. He recognized the Court’s role in upholding the law and interpreting the Constitution. However, decisions about morality or the direction of the country are left to Congress, the people’s representatives, and I believe people need that constant civic reminder of how our three branches of government work.

I understand Griffin’s confused response well enough to know that she doesn’t approve of Whoopi’s idiocy. Aside from the “decisions about morality…” [is] left to Congress” part, that is.

While I understand that there is a population out there that looks up to the ladies of “The View,” I sometimes don’t understand why there are enough viewers to keep broadcasting this nonsense.

The conclusion

Putting aside Whoopi’s uneducated comments, this segment of “The View” was somewhat entertaining to watch. I never thought in a million years I would be able to say that. Miracles do happen.
