Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg appeared to overshadow comments made by Martha-Ann Alito, wife of Chief Justice Samuel Alito, which were secretly recorded by a left-wing activist. As my colleague Sister Toldjah wrote:
Mrs Alito’s comments to Windsor on this tape – which, again for the record, were recorded when she was unaware of the recording – blast a massive hole in the blatant allegations by the New York Times that Judge Alito shared Mrs. Alito’s alleged support for raising the flag or for the rioters in the Capitol:
In Windsor’s recording, the judge’s wife sounded unrepentant, calling her critics “feminazis” and threatening libel suits against the press.
“In the case of libel, the statute of limitations is five years,” Alito said. “Don’t get angry. Get revenge.” She also expressed her deep displeasure at the newspapers’ criticism of her fashion choices “right from the start.” She said her husband’s efforts to curb her penchant for flying provocative flags had largely been unsuccessful.
“He never controls me,” she told Windsor.
Martha-Ann Alito said she has bowed to her husband in recent days by not trying to confront an LGBTQ Pride flag flying near her home for now. “I want a Sacred Heart flag because I have to look across the lagoon at the Pride flag for the next month,” she said. “I said, ‘When you’re free of this nonsense, I’ll put it up.'”
As Sister Toldjah and Jim Thompson, who have covered the comments in detail, both suggest, this is a no-good and pseudo-controversial event because the left does not like the decisions of the sitting judge – especially his majority opinion in Dobbs vs Jackson – Women’s Healththereby defederalizing the left’s holy sacrament, abortion.
Republican politicians have proudly abolished the right to abortion in America.
Today in Congress they voted against the right to access contraception.
The only question is how much further they will go if given the chance.

Buttigieg must have taken the same word salad training course as Vice President Kamala Harris, because his comments to the CNN anchor were a confused mess that had little to do with Ms. Alito’s comments and everything to do with pushing the agenda that Judge Alito is perilous and the Supreme Court reined:
“Look, I am often reminded that the most important thing in my life, which is my marriage and my family and the two wonderful children my husband Chasten and I are raising, only exists because of a single vote of the Supreme Court of the United States that expanded our rights and freedoms in 2015 and made it possible for someone like me to get married,” Buttigieg said.
He also called on the court to implement ethics reform, as Alito is one of the judges on the test bench on possible political bias and acceptance of gifts.
“And you know, the Supreme Court justices have an incredible amount of power,” the minister continued. “And because of the nature and structure of the Supreme Court, there is no check on that power.”
“They are entrusted with this literally their entire lives,” he continued. “And part of that trust is that we expect them to make these hugely consequential decisions that shape our daily lives with a sense of fairness.”
But his last comment was his most ridiculous – if that’s even possible:
“I also hope that most Americans understand the difference between a flag that symbolizes love and acceptance and signals to people who sometimes fear for their safety that they will be OK and … inflammatory symbolism. I’ll just leave it at that.”
And as is typical of CNN, Buttigieg was not criticized for his misconception of the Sacred Heart flag with the Appeal to Heaven flag. Tell me, when did the Sacred Heart flag become “insurrectionist symbolism”? According to the Today’s Catholics:
It is the image of the love of God revealed in the pierced heart of his Son. It is the symbol of a love that conquers sin and overcomes death, the symbol of the One who loved us to the end.
Love has always been associated with the heart, and so it was only natural that the love of God was represented by a heart, the heart of his Son Jesus. In him God the Father revealed his infinite love for us.
So what is wrong with Ms. Alito choosing the symbol of love and acceptance that she wants to look at? Or better yet, when did the Pride flag replace the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a symbol? Tell the children who were arrested and charged for defacing the Pride mural that was on a public road, that it is a symbol of love and acceptance. I will wait…
So if we are playing this game where elected and appointed leaders are accountable for the words of their spouse – or, as Buttigieg put it – that they reflect the influence of their spouse and are directly involved in the decision-making processes of those leaders, then let’s look at what Buttigieg’s spouse, Chastise Glezman Buttigiegwas until these days.
In addition to touting his 2021 memoir, I Have Something to Tell You, Chasten has a lot to say about Republicans and LGBTQ+. Problems. Breeding has criticized Florida’s lawincorrectly referred to as the “Don’t Say Gay” law, and has been very vocal about states banning transgender surgeries and puberty blockers for minors, as this X-thread points out.
Republicans continue their war on private health care. Instead of focusing on the real issues affecting millions, they continue to pick on a handful of families to score political points. Let’s trust families, not the government, to make health care decisions. https://t.co/VXNNFCPSRt

And of course, “health care” means allowing them to mutilate children:
“Major medical associations – including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Psychological Association – support minors’ access to gender-affirming care and oppose government bans.” https://t.co/mA0qldBVDd

The recently formed organization Doctors Protecting Children, which is made up of pediatricians from the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) and colleagues from medical organizations in the United States, takes a different view. These physicians have Doctors’ statement on protecting childrenand called on the above-mentioned American health institutions to stop the harmful protocols for children and adolescents who express discomfort about their biological sex.
Chasten speaks strongly for the rule of law in Trump’s ruling, but when a legislature does its job and overrides a governor’s veto, it’s waging war. It’s always intriguing when the tables are turned. Chasten has said little about Biden’s Justice Department targeting the surgeon who exposed the excesses and horrors of so-called gender reassignment surgery on minors, or about Biden’s bastardization of Title IX to strip women of their rights and protections in favor of transgender youth. Chasten has also sharply criticized Anheuser-Busch and, of course, the right for their treatment of Dylan Mulvaney. This is where the petite violins come in.
Can we also blame Chasten for Buttigieg’s stupidity and irresponsibility in his role as Secretary of Transportation? One of the reasons you couldn’t name all the Secretary of Transportation if you held a gun to your head is because their job isn’t supposed to be newsworthy. If the planes are flying and not falling out of the sky, the trains are staying on the tracks, and the highways, bridges, and waterways are staying passable, then the Secretary of Transportation is doing his job. Nobody cares what his name is.
But everyone knows Pete Buttigieg’s name for all the wrong reasons. From his horrific handling of the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment, to flight delays and airplane parts literally falling from the sky, to the fact that Pete was missing for most of the incident in order to bond with his IVF-conceived children, if we go by Buttigieg’s standards, then Chasten is a perilous nuisance to Buttigieg’s views and his decisions, which have severely impacted our daily lives. Aside from journalistic interest and curiosity, many Supreme Court decisions don’t bother me. However, I am concerned that the plane I board will reach my destination without incident, so I would suspect that Buttigieg’s incompetence concerns me more than a nine-judge decision.
At a recent book event, Chasten decided to speak at length about politics and what Ally really means.
Looking back on his time in Washington, DCIn his post, Buttigieg openly criticized the performative nature of politics. “A lot of politics is theater. It’s bad theater. It’s bad actors,” he said. “We need more sincere people in positions of power who care about doing something for the community.” Examples of performative actions include the conservatives’ recent push to pass “Don’t say gay” laws, he said.
Buttigieg’s criticism extended to the entire political landscape. He argued that too many politicians put their image above the well-being of their constituents. “It’s about basic human dignity, recognizing the existence of another human being,” he said.
How did Transportation Secretary Buttigieg acknowledge the suffering of the people of Eastern Palestine or the passengers who suffered from the chaos at the airline? If his demeanor is an expression of recognition of “basic human dignity,” then his lack of compassion and awareness is clearly due to Chasten’s influence and views.
This is all sauce for the goose.
