The decision of Rep. Rep. Melanie Stansbury (Dn.M.) is a different name in her third term that is mentioned in the mix. But like Garcia, she said reporters this week that it was “too early” to discuss transition plans while Connolly remains the ranking.
The 44-year-old MP Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), another aspiring secondary democrat, was less shy about their interest in the supervisory seat-to improve their attacks on Trump and the unpopular elements of his political agenda. Crockett told CNN this week that it fits perfectly for the job.
“I don’t know that I am the future of the Democratic Party, but I know that at that moment we need people who are not afraid and are willing to pursue this administration for the well -being of the entire country,” Crockett told the network. “And I think this is an opportunity that I would sit as a ranger in the observation.”
In his part, Lynch advertises his long experience on Capitol Hill, where he is now in his 25th year, and emphasizes that Connolly swore him to support him publicly when the time comes.
