Before Joe Biden took office, gasoline prices for the average driver were around $2.42 per gallon. Between Bidenomics, Bidenflation, and Joe’s war on energy, prices under his administration have been consistently around 40 percent higher.

But as the president sees his chances of re-election dwindling in the face of disastrous poll results, he has a plan: He wants to (again) dip into the country’s strategic oil reserves and, in a see-through maneuver, convince the public that they are vital to him.

Biden’s latest major energy plan:

President Joe Biden is ready to release more oil from the country’s strategic reserves if Fuel prices in the summer. This is the Biden administration’s latest plan to counter higher prices at the gas pump and higher prices for various goods due to inflation.

An energy adviser to the Biden administration recommended Gasoline prices are “still too high” for many people in the country and he said he supports measures to “lower them a little bit more”.

How about you just end your war on fossil fuels, maybe that would bring down gasoline prices.

The strategic oil reserve was established for a purpose:

The Strategic Oil Reserve (SPR), the world’s largest emergency stockpile of crude oil, was created primarily to reduce the impact of disruptions in the supply of petroleum products and to meet the United States’ obligations under the international energy program.

Note what is not mentioned as the reason for its introduction: “Improving your chances of re-election by dissatisfied voters.”

Biden had reduced the reserves to the lowest level since 1983 during the midterm elections, so he has used this trick before – in fact, he has reached into the reserves more than any other president before him. Although the government has gradually refilled the reserves, they now face further depletion. Republicans have denounced the blatant political abuse of our reserves during this time:

In a Letter sent last month Senior Republican politicians urged the administration to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to “ensure that the SPR is not abused for political purposes in this election year” and called Biden’s release of the SPR in 2022 a “transparent attempt to influence the midterm elections.”

The reserve was not intended as a tool for presidents to utilize to improve their chances of re-election; it was designed to ensure the country’s energy supply in the event of disruptions such as war or natural disasters. Biden has used it as his personal plaything, and it is his convoluted energy policy and his extreme pressure to move us to green energy when we are not ready that got us into this predicament in the first place.

Voters will not fall for this.
