The press spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt was asked after comments by the former press spokesman of the White House of Biden, Jen Psaki and the Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey (D), who criticized those who offered “thoughts and prayers” according to the shootout.

“I saw the comments of my predecessor, Ms. Psaki, and frankly, I think that they are incredibly insensitive and disrespectful towards the ten million Americans of faith in this country who believe in the power of prayer that prayer works,” said Leavitt in a briefing.

“It is completely disrespectful to mock the power of prayer in this country,” added Leavitt and said that she would encourage Psaki and others to pray for the families affected in Minnesota.

Two children aged 8 and 10 were Wednesday killed Tomorrow at a shootout in the Minneapolis announcement church. 17 more were injured, including 14 children.

Immediately after the shootout, Psaki, who served as a press spokesman in the Biden White House, served and now organized an MSNBC show. Posted on the social platform X This prayer “is not damn enough.”

“Prayers do not end the school shootings. Prayers do not surely make the parents feel like sending their children to school,” said Psaki. “The prayer does not bring these children back. Enough with the thoughts and asked.”

Frey offered a similar message and found that the shootout happened while the children “literally prayed” in the building.

“These were American families, and the amount of pain they currently suffer is exceptional,” said Frey on Wednesday. “Not only do they say that they are thoughts and prayers at the moment. These children literally pray.”
