((The hill) – Legislators, Trump administrative officers and other dignitaries will honor Charlie Kirk’s conservative experts on Sunday evening at a vigil.

The Kennedy Center organizes the DC prayer vigils at 6 p.m. Edt.

The participants include House Speaker Mike Johnson, director of the National Secret Services Tulsi Gabbard, the press spokesman for the White House, Karoline Leavitt, the secretary for health and human services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Republican representatives. Andy Biggs (Ariz.) And Anna Paulina Luna (Fla.). The Senator of Arizona, Jake Hoffman (R), organized the event.

Kirk was Tödlich shot on Wednesday At a campus event in Utah.

“The service will be a uniform event that concentrates on prayer, grief and celebration of life, inheritance and memory of Charlie Kirk – a national treasure that has been cut far too short,” says a press release in which the event is announced.

“People are very sad. They are very angry. They are – many people are afraid,” said Johnson about “Fox News Sunday”.

“It threw a shadow across the country and certainly on the Capitol Hill. But as Erika (Kirk) said so well that our friend Charlie does not want us to be consumed by despair. He would want us to advance his message and that is exactly what would happen,” he added.

A memorial service for Kirk is scheduled for September 21st in Glendale, Arizona, and President Trump said that he would take part.

Beginning of his second term, Trump re -made The Kennedy Center Board and appointed himself CEO. He criticized the earlier programming of the institution as “out of control” and argued that it showed performances with “rampant political propaganda”.
