Washington (AP) – The government of President Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court on Friday to enforce a pass policy for transgender and non -binary persons, which demands male or female sexual names based on birth certificates.
The Ministry of Justice made an appeal against an order with a lower court, which enabled people to employ the identification marker for gender or X that corresponds to their gender identity.
It is the youngest in a series of emergencies of the Trump administration, many of which have led to victories, including legal disputes, including the ban on transgender people from the military.

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Friday to put the order on hold while the lawsuit is taking place.
“The constitution does not prohibit the government to define sex in relation to the biological classification of an individual,” wrote General Prosecutor D. John Sauer.
He pointed out the most recent decision of the High Court, in which a ban on the transitional health supply for transgender-minefes was maintained. The conservative majority of the courts found that the law was not discriminated against due to gender, and Sauer argued that the determination also the decision of the Trump administration to change the pass regulations issued in 2021.
