Washington (AP)-Washington is only a few hours away from a further closure of the federal government. The prospects for a compromise at the last minute in the congress look pretty bleak to avoid the federal closures from 12:01 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Republicans have created a tiny -term measure to finance the government by November 21, but Democrats have insisted that the measure takes their concerns about health care. They want to reverse the Medicaid shortcuts in Mega-Bill by President Donald Trump, which have been adopted this summer, and extend the tax credits, the health insurance premiums for millions that acquire the marketplaces specified by the Affordable Care Act. Republicans say that the democratic proposal is a non -starter.
No side shows any signs of rationing, although the house did not even expect this week.

What happens in a shutdown?
