Washington (AP) – The United States has plunged and confronted with a new cycle of uncertainty after President Donald Trump and Congress failed to agree on the spread of government programs and services until the deadline on Wednesday.

It is expected that around 750,000 federal employees will be assessed, some potentially fired from the Trump administration. Many offices may be closed permanently because Trump swears to “do things that are irreversible that are bad” as retaliation. It is expected that his deportation agency gets full speed while education, environment and other services spast. The economic failure is expected to rest across the country.

“We don’t want it to be closed,” said Trump in the White House before the midnight period.

But the president, who met privately this week with the leadership of the congress, did not seem to negotiate a deal between Democrats and Republicans to prevent this result.

This is the third time that Trump has presented a federal financing return, the first since returning to the White House this year, in a remarkable recording that underlines the polarizing gap on the budget priorities and a political climate that rewarded the hardline positions and rather established compromises.

Make a lot responsible, to be thrown around

The Democrats chose this struggle, which was unusual for the party that prefers to keep the government going, but their voters strive to question the president’s second -term agenda. Democrats are calling for funds for subsidies in healthcare that fail for millions of people within the framework of the Affordable Care Act and address the costs of insurance premiums nationwide.

The Republicans have initially refused to negotiate and encouraged Trump to stay away from talks. After the meeting of the White House, the President published a cartoons counterfeit video that was ridiculed about the democratic leadership, which was generally considered bad and racist.

What has not developed any page is a uncomplicated offramp to prevent what could become a lengthy closure. The effects are certainly beyond the political arena and augment the life of Americans who rely on performance payments, employment contracts and the various services in turbulence on the government.

“What the government spends money is a demonstration of our country’s priorities,” said Rachel Snyderman, a former official of the White House, the managing director of economic policy in the cross -party policy, a thinking factory in Washington.

Dill down, she said, “all over the country only cause economic costs, fear and confusion.”

Economic consequences that are expected that are powerful nationwide

An economic jerk was felt within a few days. The government is expected to create its monthly job report on Friday, which may be delivered or not.

While the financial markets generally “twitched” in the case of previous switch -off, this could be different because there are no signs of broader negotiations.

“There are also only a few good analogies to switch off the potential off this week,” says the analysis.

Preparations were underway throughout the government. Trump’s office for management and budget under the direction of Russ Vought, instructed not only to carry out plans for vacation, as typical of a federal financing return, but also the mass shots of federal workers. It is part of the mission of the Trump administration, including the government’s efficiency, to reduce the federal government.

What remains open and closes

The Medicare and Medicaid health programs are expected to continue, although lack of personnel can mean delays for some services. The Pentagon would still work. And most employees stay at the workplace at the Ministry of Homeland Protection.

But Trump warned that the government could concentrate on programs that are vital for Democrats, “cut out a large number of people, cut things they like, programs that they like”.

Since the agencies find out which workers are vital or not, the Smithsonian Museums are expected to remain open at least on Monday. A group of former national park superintendents asked the Trump administration to close parks for visitors and argued that poorly occupied parks in a closure pose a threat to the public and at risk parking tours.

Not an basic exit as a cost of health care increases

Before the start of the financial year on Wednesday, the Republicans of the Republicans of House had approved a ephemeral funding law on the opposition of the Democrats to keep the government in mid -November while a broader negotiations were continued.

But this bill failed repeatedly in the Senate, even on slow Tuesday. It takes a 60-vote threshold for approval, which requires cooperation between the two parties. A democratic draft law also failed. With a 53-47 GOP majority, Democrats operate their voices to demand negotiations.

The majority leader of the Senate, John Thune, said that the Republicans are ecstatic to be ecstatic about the healthcare system with Democrats – but not as part of the talks to keep the government open. Further votes are expected on Wednesdays.

The patient situation is a political test for the democratic chairman of the Senate, Chuck Schumer, who despised of a restless basis of voters of the left flank who urge the party to deal in its demands for health financing.

“The Americans damage higher costs,” said Schumer after the failed coordination on Tuesday.

The spokesman for the House, Mike Johnson, sent the legislators home almost two weeks ago after he passed the GOP invoice and blamed Democrats for the closure.

“You want to fight Trump,” said Johnson on Tuesday on CNBC. “For this reason, many good people are injured.”

During his meeting with the congress leaders, Trump surprised about the scope of the increasing costs of health care, but the Democrats did not go to talks.

During Trump’s first term, the nation experienced its longest closure of 35 days because his demands for funds refused to build the congress of building its promised boundary wall in the USA-Mexico.

In 2013, the government closed and replace 16 days during the Obama presidency on GOP claims, the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Other closures come back from decades.
