Biden will throw a tantrum when he hears how the Teamsters responded to Trump’s invitation

Joe Biden likes to claim that he is a very “union-friendly” guy.

Of course, a “pro-union” guy would take care of the basic things that union members care about, things like the economy and the border. But Biden is paying huge dividends for his failures on both issues, with the massive influx of illegal immigrants and the crushing inflation and high interest rates he helped create.

One might think that Biden has official support, since union bosses generally side with the Democrats, even if their membership does not necessarily agree with them.

The Teamsters Union has not yet pledged official support, but has asked to speak at both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention. Former President Donald Trump invited Teamsters President Sean O’Brien to speak at the RNC.

Trump stated in a Trump Social post:

Trump said he was elated to invite him to “show working families that they come first.” Trump said if he wins, Americans will once again have a country “where everyone can afford to live and is respected around the world.” He said he looks forward to meeting with O’Brien and to working together to make America great again.

The Teamsters spokesman confirmed the invitation and that O’Brien would speak, saying he was grateful for Trump’s “openness to invite a union leader to speak on behalf of working families”:

“This is truly unprecedented,” the statement said:

Because this is the first time ever that a Teamsters president has addressed the RNC. Our 1.3 million members represent every political background and their message needs to be heard by the broadest audience possible, and that includes all political candidates running for elected office.”

This is fascinating considering they fully supported Biden in 2020.

Now they really seem to realize that many of their members may not go along with that. You have to assume that it’s not good for Joe Biden to say something like that and that he’s losing ground with them. But considering how he’s let down the American people in such a crucial way, it’s not hard to understand why they’re reacting like this now.

The Trump campaign also noted:

“President Trump participated in a roundtable discussion in January with Teamsters President O’Brien, Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman, the union’s executive committee and rank-and-file members,” which “O’Brien described as ‘an in-depth and productive discussion of the labor issues most critical to the Teamsters union.'”

I wrote about it back in January and called it the picture that could spell the end for Biden:

It sounds like the relationship has evolved. The Teamsters even made a donation to the RNC after this round of talks.

The report did not say whether the DNC had invited O’Brien to speak, but it sounds like they are tired of being taken for granted and are looking to broaden their horizons. And you know Biden and the Democrats will be tearing their hair out about it.
