It could be the biggest moment of the campaign yet when Donald Trump and Joe Biden face off in their first debate on Thursday. After years of speculation and doubts about whether such a meeting would take place, the current president proposed a tightly controlled head-to-head duel on CNN with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash as moderators.

Still, the intellectual titans of “The View” have a warning for Trump: Don’t go after Hunter Biden.
The discussion began with Joy Behar fearing that any mention of Biden’s now-convicted son could be a “trigger point” and possibly throw him off track. Ana Navarro had Words of assuranceHowever, he claimed that any mention of Hunter Biden would backfire.
Behar then expressed her concern that Trump would criticize Hunter Biden. But Hostin maintained her confidence in the president.
“I think Biden is a true statesman, and I think he will be up to the task,” she said. “And we know who Trump is. He is a convicted felon.”
Navarro said this may be an unwise attack attempt by the former president.
“You know what? If Donald Trump goes after Hunter Biden, he does so at his own peril,” she said. “There are few American families who are unaffected by the purge. [sic] addiction, including the Trump family. He has a brother who died from addiction.”
Do you know why Navarro is no longer a “Republican political strategist”? Because she was terrible at it and her comment here is a continuation of that. The idea that most people feel sympathy for Hunter Biden because of his “addiction” is ridiculous. When most voters see the president’s son, they see a corrupt degenerate who has spent his life abusing his privileges to scam people out of money, avoid paying his taxes, and do coke with hookers.
Hunter Biden is not “like us.” The Biden family is not like any other American family. They are consummate government leeches who have enriched themselves and gained power off the backs of others while enjoying preferential treatment for most of their lives. It was only when a brave judge started asking questions that the whole thing was exposed decades after it began.
It’s ridiculous to remember that Navarro once described the corruption in the Biden family as a story about “a father’s love.”
Ana Navarro drank all the Kool-Aid.
Here are their thoughts on Hunter Biden’s alleged utilize of Joe Biden as leverage to capitalize on illegal deals:

So should Trump bring up Hunter Biden and his father’s illegal dealings? The fact that Navarro is warning against it means that he absolutely should. Democrats want Trump to stick to artificial boundaries. Instead, he should tread scorched earth in his choice of topics. Temperamentally, the former president should remain serene and give Biden the opportunity to burn himself, but when it’s time to speak, nothing should be off limits. That includes pointing out that the current president still hasn’t bothered to meet the five-year-old granddaughter whose existence he denied for four years.
Biden’s greatest strength, at least in the eyes of the press, is the idea that he is a compassionate family man. That facade must be torn down and there must be no double standards when it comes to washing grubby laundry.
