Insider: Biden’s disaster debate was a trap – a “soft coup”

This debate was heard around the world and changed the US presidential election overnight. Although former President Donald Trump was already doing well in the polls, it was still a close race, but then on Thursday night, a tender Joe Biden appeared on the CNN stage in Atlanta and proved that he is simply not up to the job of commander in chief.

But was his disastrous performance an accident? Or did underhanded insiders lure the octogenarian into a trap in order to replace him with someone with a little more brains – perhaps California Governor Gavin Newsom or Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer?

At least one insider believes so. according to DailyMail:

The 81-year-old US president is facing growing calls to resign following his disastrous performance at Thursday’s debate, with sources telling the Mail on Sunday that many believe he was deliberately set up to fail.

A former consultant to Hillary Clinton said: “There has never been a debate this early. Traditionally, the debates take place after the Republican and Democratic conventions, which take place in July and August.”

Imagine what they do behind closed doors.

But it was Team Biden itself that pushed for the early date.

“In most years, the first debate takes place in early September before the November election.”

“Biden’s inner circle demanded this early debate. There is a growing belief that this was a ‘soft coup’ because they know he is unfit to govern and have known that for some time.”

I always take talk of “insiders” and “anonymous sources” with a grain of salt, because they usually have a hidden agenda, and if they had any guts, they would back up their words with names. Still, this claim rings true – why else would Biden be launched so early in the race to fail so spectacularly on the world stage before the Democratic National Convention has even begun?

According to reports, some Biden critics have known for weeks that he would fall flat on his face in the spotlight and under Trump’s gaze:

“They wanted to test him against Trump early, while there was still time to replace him if he was not up to the situation. Which, of course, he succeeded in doing spectacularly.”

Another source said: “The whole thing is not valid. Publicly, the Democratic leadership supports Biden because they cannot appear disloyal to the president, but secretly there has long been discussion that he is too old to beat Trump.”

“For weeks there were rumors that Joe would lose the debate.”

Meanwhile, we’ve seen Gavin Newsom try to insert himself into the national debate for at least a year, and while he denies it, it seems obvious that he’s preparing to jump into the race if necessary. But guess who else has reportedly made moves? Whitmer:

One of the favorites to succeed Biden, 52-year-old Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, had secretly sent an advance team to Washington DC “weeks ago” to prepare for her possible presidential candidacy.

The team has been “on maneuvers” and meeting with Democratic officials. The source said, “Gretchen was the first to act. Now the floodgates are open.”

There is something very Shakespearean about this whole saga, and I suspect we will see a lot more (figurative) intrigue and machinations behind the scenes as corrupt Democrats try to save the game they are currently losing.

They all deserve each other.
